We are here to provide you daily coverage of your favorite sports and will be adding more as time goes on and writers get involved. We will bring you straight forward honest news with no favoritism of superstars like most sports syndicates do. We believe every athlete makes the sport not just the big names.
Last night at UFC 196 we saw Miesha Tate and honestly Nate Diaz do something I know i have been calling to happen for a long time. Miesha and Nate showed what happened when you got the two champs to the mat, those being Holm and McGregor, they tap out or have to scramble as hard as they can to stay off the mat. A true dominant champion needs to be able to win on the mat and standing. In the Co-Main event in the 5th round Miesha got Holm to the mat for only the 2nd time and she would not let go and her efforts paid off as she locked in the Rear Naked Choke and picked up a submission win, in which Holm literally went to sleep. By doing so she became the NEW Womens Bantamweight Champion of the World. Meanwhile in the main event some 20 minutes later Nate Diaz took a beating in round one and early round two before showing he is one of the toughest guys in the UFC, which we already knew. He rallied form the bloody mess that he got turned into and wobbled McGregor so bad that Connor shot for the legs so he could recover and Nate turned that into a absolute domination on the mat. He made Connor tap out which hopefully will serve him some humble pie and he will go lose to Edgar now in his own weightclass.
