Dana early this week said if Conor can't come back before September he will need to be stripped of his belt and will get a title shot when he returns. Then a day or two later we had the announcement of Tony Ferguson vs. Khabib. Hasn't been confirmed if it is for the interim belt yet or the main title but the fight enough is exciting for now no matter which belt. That fight is going to happen on April 7th in Brooklyn at UFC 223.
Another big fight has been announced as Josh Emmett has been scheduled a fight with Jeremy Stephens who just won a massive fight less than 6 days ago over the Korean Wonder boy Do Hoo Choi. That fight will happen in just over a month on February 24th at UFC Orlando.
One more major fight was announced as well this week and that fight was Justin Gaethje vs. Dustin Poirier. They haven't set a card yet but expected to be early spring and is definitely a fight to keep an eye on in this lightweight division.
