Miami Dolphins @ Atlanta Falcons. The Dolphins are decent this year, but the Falcons are better. I expect them to put together a phenomenal showing as they defeat the Dolphins at home. Final score: Falcons 28, Dolphins 3.
Chicago Bears @ Baltimore Ravens. I believe in Trubisky's ability to lead this team to a few wins. While Trubisky is not a Pro Bowl caliber talent yet, the Bears already knocked off Pittsburgh this year. Maybe they beat the Ravens as well. Final score: Bears 28, Ravens 27.
Houston Texans @ Cleveland Browns. This is a classic trap game for Houston. The Browns look better than in the past and the Texans are coming off a loss. That being said, nothing makes me believe that the Browns 28th starting quarterback since 1999 will be any better than the previous 27. Therefore, Texans win, even without Watt. Actually, Tim Couch was pretty good and actually led the team to the playoffs. And then there was this guy, the Browniest Browns quarterback of them all. Final score: Texans 21, Browns 17.
Green Bay Packers @ Minnesota Vikings. Playoff implications? This game is full of them as the Packers and Vikings play for the lead in the NFC North. That being said, the Packers are the better team and should win this one. Final score: Packers 28, Vikings 17.
Detroit Lions @ New Orleans Saints. No clue what to say about this game other than Alvin Kamara is suddenly looking like the star player in the Saints backfield. This one's a toss up, but going with the Saints at home. However, Zach Zenner scores one touchdown for the Lions. Why doesn't Detroit use this guy more often?! Final score: Saints 21, Lions 18.
New England Patriots @ New Jersey Jets. This week the Patriots head to New Jersey to face the Jets for the top spot in the AFC East. Yes, you read that correctly. The winner of this game will be the top team in the AFC East heading into week 7. The Patriots are the better team, and I have to go with Belichick on this one. Final score: Patriots 35, Jets 21.
San Francisco 49ers @ Washington Politically Incorrects. This week the San Francisco 49ers (who have yet to win a game) head to Washington to take on the Politically Incorrects. The Washington football team has more weapons on both sides of the ball, and should win. Final score: Politically Incorrects 24, 49ers 13.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Arizona Cardinals. This should be an outstanding game, with used up Adrian Peterson's first game as a Cardinal coming at home. That being said, the Buccaneers have the better team and should win this one by a close margin on the road. Final score: Buccaneers 27, Cardinals 24.
LA Rams @ Jacksonville Jaguars. Both of these teams are surprising everybody but me this year. Both have outstanding defenses and lackluster quarterback talent. Both are 3-2. Both have put up some impressive wins. This is going to be a phenomenal defensive matchup, but I think the Rams have slightly more weapons (including my boy Cooper Kupp) and squeak out a close one on the road. Final score: LA Rams 7, Jacksonville Jaguars 6.
Pittsburgh Steelers @ KC Chiefs. This week, the Chiefs stand for the National Anthem and defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers at home to start the season out 6-0. Chiefs win. Final score: Chiefs 28, Steelers 24.
LA Chargers @ Oakland Raiders. Both of these teams are huge disappointments this season. The Raiders are slightly less disappointing, and will win this game at home. Final score: Raiders 14, Chargers 7.
New Jersey Giants @ Denver Broncos. Who is lining up at receiver for the Giants? Beckham? Nope. Shephard? Nope. Marshall? Nope. Buehler? Buehler? BUEEEEHLER?!?! The Giants have no wide receivers and the Broncos have a great defense. Therefore, Broncos win. This pick is as obvious as the fact that rain wets. Final score: Broncos 28, Giants 7.
Indianapolis Colts @ Tennessee Titans. If Mariota plays, then this pick is easy, Titans win. If not, the game gets interesting, but the Titans should still win. I'm going to go with the Titans. Final score: Titans 27, Colts 18.
Also, a shoutout to all the Cincinnati Bengals fans (like me) who won't be disappointed by their team this week! Here's a song dedication for you (us)!--Mike B.
