Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Buffalo Bills. The Ryan Fitzpatrick curse has struck again, as Jameis Winston is recovering from injury. That being said, he should play this week. Even then, he'll be hobbled due to injury, which means he might not put up the greatest numbers. I think the Bills pull this one out at home. Final score: Bills 27, Buccaneers 21.
Carolina Panthers @ Chicago Bears. The Bears are good against the AFC North this season. They're not great against the rest of the NFL...yet. Trubisky shows promise at quarterback, but I think the Panthers squeak this one out on the road. Final score: Panthers 21, Bears 20.
Tennessee Titans @ Cleveland Browns. This is the week that the Cleveland Browns snap out of their slump and win a game. The Titans are a solid team, but the Browns are due to put together a major upset. I'm picking the Browns in this one. Final score: Browns 14, Titans 10.
New Orleans Saints @ Green Bay Packers. Brett Hundley has the talent to carry the Packers on his shoulders, and this is a game against a weak Saints defense that the team could win. That being said, I have to go with the Saints in the Packers first full game of the season without Rodgers. Saints win. Final score: Saints 35, Packers 28. Hundley throws 2 TD passes.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Indianapolis Colts. Test time for the Jaguars. Are they ready to make a run in the division? I think this defense is, and they could put together a nice game against the Colts. Final score: Jaguars 24, Colts 21.
Arizona Cardinals @ LA Rams. Todd Gurley and the Rams are for real. This week, they continue their progress towards beating .500 for the season against the Cardinals, and this game could have playoff implications. I think the Rams take care of business at home. I'm a believer in Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp, Todd Gurley, and Jared Goff. Rams win. Final score: Rams 21, Cardinals 20.
New York Jets @ Miami Dolphins. This week, the Jets and Dolphins meet in the battle of scrub quarterbacks. This is a game that could go either way, but I'm going to give the edge to Miami at home against a surprisingly good Jets team. Final score: Dolphins 14, Jets 13.
Baltimore Ravens @ Minnesota Vikings. The Ravens lost to the Bears. The Vikings beat the Bears. The Vikings should give the Ravens trouble regardless of who lines up under center. Final score: Vikings 21, Ravens 7.
Dallas Cowboys @ San Francisco 49ers. Upset alert! The CJ Beathard era has begun, and he will lead the 49ers to victory at home against the Cowboys. This kid is in line for a big week, and is about to turn some heads. Final score: San Francisco Beathards 28, Cowboys 14.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers Bengals at Pittsburgh in a later game? Steelers win, because Marvin Lewis. Final score: Steelers 35, Bengals 14.
Denver Broncos @ LA Chargers. The Broncos are suddenly struggling after a loss to the Giants. That being said, they should right the ship in LA this week against the Chargers. Final score: Broncos 14, Chargers 10.
Seattle Seahawks @ New York Giants. This week, Branden Jackson and the Seahawks travel to Metlife Stadium to take on the Giants, and this is an easy pick. My favorite player playing for a team in a situation where they're highly likely to win? I'm picking Branden Jackson and the Seahawks. I'm going to one-up things, and pick Branden Jackson to record his first career NFL sack against Eli Manning this week. GO SEAHAWKS AND GO BRANDEN JACKSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Words simply cannot describe how much love I have for Branden as both a player and as a person. Great player who is also, to me, one of the best character guys in the entire league. He's about to set the whole league on fire as a former UDFA, because it's not how you start, it's how you finish. Now that Branden is in a position to earn more playing time, this kid is going to prove to the NFL that he is a special talent, as he helps the Seahawks beat the Giants. Final score: Seahawks 24, Giants 7.
New England Patriots @ Atlanta Falcons. 28-3. Bill Belichick hides cough drops in his hoodie to cover choking, and the Patriots win 28-3. Final score: Patriots 28, Falcons 3.
Washington Redskins @ Philadelphia Eagles. A Divisional rivalry on Monday night with playoff implications? It doesn't get much better than this! I think the Eagles bring home another victory on the shoulders of North Dakota State University product Carson Wentz. Even though I'm not an Eagles fan, I'm a bit of a Wentz fan as a Montana State graduate, even though I once watched North Dakota State beat us in the playoffs at home....in person. Final score: Eagles 24, Redskins 21. --Mike B.
