The Bears are who I thought they were! And the Cowboys are going to have a winning season! Mark Sanchez goes up against his old head coach, and the Bengals play the Steelers in one of two games that will be instrumental in deciding who wins the AFC North! This is an exciting week for football, and there are some great games on the table for this week.
Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati. This is the AFC North and these two teams always play hard against each other. The Bengals will be looking for revenge after punter Kevin Huber's broken jaw last season, and the Bengals and Steelers will likely split this series. I'm picking the Bengals against the Steelers in Cincinnati, especially since the Bengals are usually solid at home. Final score Bengals 24, Pittsburgh 21.
St. Louis @ Washington. After dominating the Oakland Raiders last week, the Rams face another weak, weak team. I have a soft spot for Colt McCoy, but that's not enough to stop me from picking Tre Mason to vastly outperform Alfred Morris and the Rams to win again. Final score Rams 28, Redskins 14.
New York Giants @ Tennessee. Is Zach Mettenburger a better QB than Eli Manning? He might be! That being said, Odell Beckham Junior makes every offense look better. This is going to be a tough game to call, but I think the Giants squeak by with a close one now that Coughlin's job is on the line again. Final score Giants 21, Titans 20.
Carolina @ New Orleans. Two terrible teams, one terrible division! A 6-10 team could potentially win the NFC South this season and squeak into the playoffs. This game could go either way, but the Saints are at home and have fewer holes than the Panthers. Final score Saints 24, Panthers 12.
New York Jets @ Minnesota. Rumor has it that Adrian Peterson was suspended for the season to prevent him from beating Rex Ryan's reeling defense senseless in this matchup. The Jets lost a heartbreaker against the Dolphins last week, and are coming in angry. They squeak by the Vikings in a close game, 24-21. Geno Smith gets caught eating a hot dog on the sideline.
Baltimore Ravens @ Miami Dolphins. Last week's close call against the Jets notwithstanding, the Dolphins are actually a pretty good football team, especially at home. Baltimore, meanwhile, is on the decline. This game has wildcard implications written all over it, and Miami makes a push for a playoff spot by beating the Ravens. Final score Dolphins 35, Ravens 14.
Indianapolis @ Cleveland. Another game with playoff implications! The Cleveland Browns are squarely in the playoff chase! That's exciting. That being said, last week's deflating performance might send the Browns into a downward spiral against the Colts. I think Indy wins this one. Final score Colts 38, Browns 24.
Tampa Bay @ Detroit. The Bucs showed that they are improving by nearly beating the Cincinnati Bengals last week. The Lions, meanwhile, are starting their annual implosion. I think the Bucs win this game. Upset special, final score Bucs 14, Lions 12.
Houston @ Jacksonville. Yes, the Jaguars beat the Giants. No, that doesn't mean they're ready to be a good football team. Both of these franchises need to improve, and this game will be sloppy. However, Houston is the better team and will win. Final score Houston 21, Jacksonville 14.
Buffalo @ Denver. Buffalo's signing of Kyle Orton finally makes sense, as he unleashes a career game against one of his former teams, the Broncos. Orton has a huge game, and the Bills roll. Final score Bills 48, Broncos 35.
Kansas City @ Arizona. The Cardinals have been slumping recently, but they turn it around this week against the Chiefs. The Cardinals come to play, and right the ship as they look to coast into the playoffs. Final score Cardinals 21, Chiefs 12. Carson Palmer listens to Rush from the sideline.
Seattle @ Philadelphia. Grudge match part two! Mark Sanchez gets a chance to face off against his college coach Pete Carroll. Unfortunately for Carroll, Sanchez knows his tricks, and the Eagles squeeze out a close win. Final score Philly 24, Seahawks 21.
San Francisco @ Oakland. The Raiders are bad. Really bad. The 49ers aren't quite as bad, and win this game. However, this won't be another blowout. Final score 49ers 38, Raiders 35.
New England @ San Diego. This looks like another win for New England on paper, but let's look closer. The Chargers are playing good football lately and they're at home. I think this is going to be a close game, and if San Diego can force a turnover or two, they can win this game. I'm going with the Chargers. Final score Chargers 24, New England 23.
Atlanta @ Green Bay. Two great quarterbacks, one great team. Matt Ryan's arm isn't enough to carry the Falcons over the surging Packers. Aaron Rodgers and this entire offense comes to play, and HaHa Clinton-Dix manages to not get ran over by a tight end as the Packers roll. Final score Packers 35, Falcons 21.
Steelers @ Bengals This game is soo important for division and wildcard meaning. Steelers are still very inconsistent regardless of record because they make their games alot harder then they have to be. But sadly so do the Bengals they for 10 years now have either just been bad or straight up inconsistent. This game is hard to call I'm going cincy wins 34 - 27.
Rams @ the team formerly named for native Americans The Skins are pathetic even with Colt McCoy and the Rams are surprisingly effective with Shaun Hill at the helm. The Rams are going to tear apart a terrible Washington team and the Rams defense is to me a top 5 defense in the league. Rams win 38 - 17.
Giants @ Titans another one of those games where nobody cares whatsoever. The Giants are pathetic for a second straight season. You know your team is really bad when your season highlight will be a single catch by your rookie reciever through 16 games. Titans have Mettenberger at the helm still which I'm not quite convinced by over Jake locker. But at home I feel the Titans could break through here and finally win some and win 26 - 23
Panthers @ Saints Cam Newton, I truly wish I knew where you disappeared too. Meanwhile the Saints are waking up which sucks for the Falcons who have an extremely tough schedule ahead, including the Packers and Saints on the road. I am going to take the Saints 37 - 20.
Jets @ Vikings Jets are just as pathetic as we all thought they were, the week against the Steelers was clearly a fluke. The vikings are not as bad as their record shows, a rookie QB needs time to learn. They also have a lazy reciever in Cordelle Paterson who hasn't put forth the dedication required. Regardless the Vikings win here 38 - 5.
Ravens @Dolphins The Ravens just lost Haloti Ngata for 4 games because he was selfish and made a mistake he might regret forever if his team misses the post season. The Ravens and Dolphins are both fighting for Wildcard spots and will realize the importance of this game. I take the Ravens because of a better all around team and John Hardbaugh is a better coach then Joe Philbin and will carry his team through a tough situation. Ravens win 42 - 27.
Colts @ Browns Brian Hoyer?!?!?!?! Are you kidding me!!!!!!! Bad decision Cleveland sorry but this will be officially the downfall of your Browns and their playoff hopes. Colts win because it's not Johnny football. 34 - 21. Hoyer throws 2 more ints.
Bucs @ Lions No way the Lions don't roll the bucs over. Stafford, Calvin, Golden, and Bell showed in Chicago will be twice as scary at home against a terrible bucs team who just lost to the Bears 2 weeks ago. Lions win big 45 - 18.
Texans @ Jags JJ Watt is better then the entire Jags team. The jags are struggling so badly since David Garrard was their starting QB. I am going Texans 27 - 17. JJ Watt gets another TD.
Bills @ Broncos Kyle Orton don't take a bow! The Jets aren't a good team, and you didn't really do all that well even. Then you faced the Browns with Brian Hoyer the INT machine in Buffalo another easy game. The Broncos are the Broncos they have Peyton Manning who is a billion times better then Kyle Orton. Broncos are going to massacre the Bills and Kyle Orton. Broncos win 38 - 17
Chiefs @ Cardinals The cheifs said they will let Jamaal Charles run more, because that makes sense. They should know you can't trust Alex Smith to win games alone. The Cardinals are struggling much to my own disbelief. The Cardinals turn it around at home win this week 24 - 19.
Seahawks @ Eagles. Where did this seahawks team come from? They have really raised from the dead. While their opponent the Eagles are so good and I seriously think the Packers are the only team in the NFC to be able to stop them right now. I am going to take Eagles 31 - 23.
49ers @ Raiders Raiders get the second win of the season this week. They are going to pick Kaepernick off 2 times this week and win this thing. Colin shouldn't be starting in the NFL anymore but because the "experts" love him so much he is considered the golden child. If this was RGIII he gets ridiculed and forced to sit but Kaep starts still after this time kinda sad considering the Oregon ducks in 2 games have outscored the 49ers at their own home stadium this season. Raiders win 24- 20.
Patriots @ Chargers Patriots are the best team in the AFC and regardless of it being a road test this week it won't really be a test. I like the Chargers a bit and believe they are a strong team but not strong enough for this test. Patriots win 46 - 28.
Falcons @ Packers The Packers are the best team in the NFL there isn't a doubt about it as they showed it off last week. Now at home against Matty Ryan who is warming up at the important moments of the season. But sadly for the Falcons they are not good enough to best this test in Lambeau. Packers win in huge fashion 37 - 17 and Aaron Rodgers sets the record for best TD to INT ratio in 100 starts.
Steelers @ Bengals: this game is hard to call, but I'm going to take the bangles in a close game, 24-21.
Colts @ Browns: Can I just say, I do not believe in Johnny football. Sorry folks. Colts win, 35-17.
Buccs @ Lions: I'm not sure I actually need to comment on this game, I think the outcome seems pretty obvious. Lions, 31-12.
Giants @ Titans: The Titans have been downright terrible this year, the Giants have looked better as of late. Giants win, because they have Odell Beckham Junior. Giants, 27-14.
Rams @ Redskins: Colt McCoy gets his second win as a starter for the 'Skins, and all the Rams players who showed solidarity don't make a catch. Is that far fetched? Maybe, but who better to teach a lesson about race than the Redskins? Skins win it, 31-13.
Ravens @ Dolphins: Justin Forsette. 'Nough said. Ravens take it, 20-17.
Jets @ Vikings: The Jets will continue to "Ryan" themselves, only Rex could make a quarterback so bad that he butt fumbles on national TV. Vikings, 20-9.
Panthers @ Saints: I got to go with the Saints for this game, I just don't see the Panthers playing well for the rest of the year. Final score, 38-24.
Texans @ Jaguars: How about an upset? I think the Jags will win their third game in stunning fashion. Robinson runs for 120 yards and 2 TDs, and the Bortles throws for an extra 2. Throw in a pick six near the end, and a field goal to seal it, and you have the final score of: 38-28.
Bills @ Broncos: This story line is juicy, because Kyle Orton is returning to his old franchise the Broncos, where he played so poorly that John Fox started Tim Tebow. Broncos fans despise Orton, but they do have one of the most exciting seasons ever to thank him for, because watching Tebow lead all those comebacks was incredible. So from me and Bronco Nation to Kyle Orton, "Thanks Kyle, for sucking so hard that you got replaced with the most polarizing player in the game. We really enjoyed that season." Now let Peyton teach you how the position is played. Broncos, 45-20.
Chiefs @ Cardinals: I think the Cards Will get back on track this week. The Kansas City Chiefs are just pretenders. Contenders win, 27-16.
49ers @ Raiders: Kaepernick can't read defenses, the Raiders can't run the ball, how exciting does it get. Look for a defensive throw down. The Niners win this one because they have the better defense. Niners, 17-13.
Seahawks @ Eagles: The most exciting game of the weekend? I would definitely say so. Look for the Seahawks to run the ball a lot, and keep Chip Kelly's offense off the field. Despite their best efforts, I don't ser the Hawks pulling this one out on the road. Eagles win, 34-27.
Patriots @ Chargers: The Chargers had a miraculous comeback last week, but I don't think that the patriots will allow that to happen. Pats, 26-21 (Rivers gets sacked once in the endzone.)
Falcons @ Packers: The Pack can't lose at home. Sorry Atlanta fans, your deep is deep sixed. Packers, 45-20.
Hey guys sorry I'm so late again, its been a busy weekend.
Steelers @ Bengals - Bengals win, 24-21.
Rams @ The Washington Native Peoples - Rams win, 27-17.
Giants @ Titans - Giants win, 24-16.
Panthers @ Saints - Saints win, 27-16.
Jets @ Vikings - Vikings win, 30-10.
Ravens @ Miami - This is a tough one. Miami wins, 36-30.
Colts @ Browns - Colts win, 20-14.
Buccaneers @ Lions - Lions win, 35-10.
Texans @ Jaguars - Texans win, 24-21.
Bills @ Broncos - Broncos win, 27-24.
Chiefs @ Cardinals - Cardinals win, 27-21.
Seahawks @ Eagles - This is going to be a very close game, possibly the best game of the week. Very tough to call. Seahawks win, 26-24.
49ers @ Raiders - 49ers win, 16-7.
Patriots @ Chargers - Patriots win, 30-24.
Falcons @ Packers - Packers win, 33-13.
