Power Rankings Following Week 2:
.New England Patriots (2-0): They are doing all of this without Brady and Gronk thus far. This team might be Super Bowl Champs.
.Houston Texans (2-0): With this defense and their new weapons on offense I think Bill O’ Brian is proving to be the most underrated coach in football right now.
.Denver Broncos (2-0): Untill this defense falls I will stand behind them being a top 5 team, they are proving you can win with a mediocre QB as long as your ground game and defense are good. I miss that it is like the 2000 Ravens.
.Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0): They are doing well on defense and their offense is alive without Bell because DeAngelo Williams is a freak of nature even without Antonio Brown making an impact they beat the Bengals. This team could be scary with Bell and Wheaton back.
.Philadelphia Eagles (2-0): This team has shocked the hell out of me and their defense looks lethal right now. If Wentz continues to grow even more than he already has in the offseason, then watch out NFL these guys could be contenders.
.Arizona Cardinals (1-1): The Cardinals in my opinion are the best team in the league still I am hoping week one was just a slow start. We shall see.
.Green Bay Packers (1-1): The Packers had one of their notorious bad weeks under Mike McCarthy it happens every year and is normally against Detroit or Minnesota. I think they are still world champ quality.
.New York Giants (2-0): The Giants are shocking me in many ways and with Victor Cruz back and an improved secondary they could make some noise that nobody saw coming. Macadoo is a good coach I don’t question that one.
.Seattle Seahawks (1-1): A rough loss to the one team Russell Wilson can’t seem to figure out, doesn’t convince me that they aren’t a top 10 team. I think they will blow San Fran out of the water and prove how good they are.
.Cincinnati Bengals (1-1): They will revenge their loss when it goes to Cincy later this year and they have Eifert and Burfict back. They are still AFC North title contenders. But Marvin will choke away any regular season progress in the playoffs.
.Minnesota Vikings (2-0): I think even with no AP and no Bridgewater and whatever other injuries they seem like they are in for this team will still be an NFC Wildcard team because Harrison Smith and that defense are top 2 in the league.
.San Diego Chargers (1-1): No Keenan Allen, no problem, Rivers is spreading the ball around and they have one hell of a ground game with Melvin Gordon having the confidence he lacked last year. The Bolts might shock everyone if this offense stays alive.
.Baltimore Ravens (2-0): The Ravens are the worst of the undefeated remaining teams, both games were way to close with two 0-2 teams. They still need to find their rhythm offensively especially on the ground and I think their defense is still very weak just needs to face a true offense.
.Carolina Panthers (1-1): The Panthers secondary is really weak and it is hurting the rest of their defense, if this team wants to revisit the Super Bowl they will need to play better in the secondary. Their offense needs to find its consistency but I think they will be fine.
.Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-1): They are a growing young team led by a 2nd year QB. I truly believe they are heading in the right direction, last week did show though against the top dogs they aren’t ready yet.
.Oakland Raiders (1-1): DEFENSE, YOU HAVE JACK DEL RIO AND YET YOUR DEFENSE IS GETTING SHREDDED APART!!!!! This team could win this division this year if their defense would show up.
.Kansas City Chiefs (1-1): The Chiefs will always have their defense but if they don’t get a good QB that isn’t just a game manager they won’t ever make the Super Bowl. They aren’t built or coached like the Broncos and this formula with this team just won’t work.
.Atlanta Falcons (1-1): They are a good offensive team and with Dan Quinn as coach I think the defense will continue to grow but there are still some growing pains coming as this team needs a little more time to develop. They are getting there.
.Detroit Lions (1-1): This is another team with no defense that is learning you need a defense to be good in the NFL now. I like their offense they just aren’t quite playoff contenders with this defense.
.Dallas Cowboys (1-1): Somebody want to fall to Arlington and tell Dez it is time to wake up the season started? The Cowboys offense has been a bit off and their defense might be bottom 5 this year. It could be ugly for Jerry Jones.
.Tennessee Titans (1-1): Mariota needs to be unleashed and this team could take off. I can’t stand the coaching in Tennessee but if the defense can keep playing tough and the offense can get the ground game and passing game clicking they could shock some people.
.New York Jets (1-1): That game against the Bills really made me wonder where their defense is and this team is only going to compete in the NFL with that defense because their offense is a joke, they have the WR’s and RB but they need a better QB!!!!!
.New Orleans Saints (0-2): They are better than 0-2 they played two great games and just came up short, they are going to be an average team this year.
.Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2): Apparently the Jags just can’t play football away from Jacksonville. They are a good team they just looked horrible on the road this weekend. Lets hope that was a one time thing.
.Indianapolis Colts (0-2): Andrew Luck is a top 15 QB he isn’t a top 10 his stats can be pretty but does he deliver consistently and in the clutch? No. The Colts have the worst defense I have seen in years and they will never make the playoffs until that is fixed.
.San Francisco 49ers (1-1): The 49ers are a terrible team but they made some small improvements this offseason and you can see they have some capabilities this year to move the ball and play defense.
.Miami Dolphins (0-2): They came to life finally late in the game against the Pats now we just have to see if they can continue to find that rhythm. Time will tell us how real the Dolphins are.
.LA Rams (1-1): They have a defense and they proved that on week 2. Now can they find some type of offense is all I really want to know and can they finally start Jared Goff.
.Washington Redskins (0-2): The Skins look bad and their defense is pretty awful, Kirk Cousins wasn’t the answer and last year was a fluke season just as I assumed it was and they are figuring that out now.
.Chicago Bears (0-2): The Bears are still trying to find out if they have a shot or if they should just rebuild, well its time to rebuild that’s the answer. This team is a mess and going nowhere fast.
.Buffalo Bills (0-2): GET RID OF REX AND ROB RYAN and this team could go far until then this team will remain bottom 6 of the league and be a joke due to its talent and lack of results.
.Cleveland Browns (0-2): The Browns are bad and the loss of Corey Coleman just solidified their going to remain at the bottom of the league until they get Josh Gordon back at least.
Sports give us as the human race something to cheer for and support and give hope to all of us.
