Week 8 TNF: NFL Network @ 8:20 PM/ET:
Dolphins (4-3) @ Texans (4-3): The Dolphins couldn’t stop the run last week against the Lions and it put them behind the 8-ball early. Their offense couldn’t catch up and now they are without their big play player Albert Wilson. Osweiler has looked good with Adam Gase which has been a great system for him. The Texans are rolling with 4 wins straight. The Texans offense has been explosive, and their defense has finally shown up. The Texans have a good shot to keep rolling against a bad run defense that Miami has shown they have. Lamar Miller is a player to watch. Texans 27 – Dolphins 23. – Matt K

Week 7: Only one team remains undefeated after week 6, that team being the Rams. This week features 4 teams on bye which means we will see two less games. Those teams on bye are the Packers, Raiders, Steelers, and Seahawks. The Chargers and Titans are playing at 9:30 AM/ET in London.
9:30 AM/ET on CBS:
Titans (3-3) @ Chargers (4-2): The 2nd game of the season to take place in London should be way better than the first game. The Titans really looked lost last week against the Ravens in Nashville. They are now headed to London which will be a tough turnaround for them. Two weeks ago they looked like a contender then a loss to Buffalo and a blowout loss to Baltimore has us all asking questions. The Chargers keep impressing us all. They are a true contender in the AFC as their only losses are the Chiefs and Rams. This team is going to be a tough feat for Tennessee this week. Texans (3-3) @ Jaguars (3-3): The AFC South is wide open, and these two division rivals could very well be playing for a division lead. The Texans are turning it around as I believed they would once Watson got some time in on his knee. He has weapons around him and their defense is starting to show signs of improvement. Watt is leading the league in sacks, if Clowney can jump on board they might be the best team in the division at years end. The Jaguars on the other hand got flat out skunked last week by Dallas and have a lot of worries. The offense is so inconsistent, and their defense is starting to get exposed. I believe the Jaguars are honestly in a must win because this team can’t lose another game and expect to keep their morale up. Texans 24 – Jaguars 23. – Matt

Panthers (3-2) @ Eagles (3-3): The Panthers disappointed last week against the Redskins and will have a tough opponent to rebound against in Philly this week. Their defense is a weak unit and will need to step up if they want to keep up with the Eagles high flying offense. The Eagles really dominated the Giants last week. If the Eagles are honestly the team, we saw last week then they are a legit contender again this year. Watch out for these Eagles because they are legit. Eagles 32 – Panthers 24. – Matt
Panthers 21 – Eagles 20 – Mike B
Eagles 21 – Panthers 10 – Jonathan
Eagles 24 – Panthers 20 - Scott
Eagles 28 – Panthers 27 - Josh
Vikings (3-2-1) @ Jets (3-3): The Vikings once again looked iffy at times last week against Arizona, but their defense held them up. Cousins fumbled once again which is continuing to be a pathetic display of ball control. They still are an incredible team, they just need to protect the ball better. The Jets are continuing their ups and downs but last week was an impressive good week for them. The Jets are hard to predict. I love Darnold and believe in him, but this week might be too tough for the Jets. Vikings 31 – Jets 20. – Matt

Patriots (4-2) @ Bears (3-2): The Patriots just beat the Chiefs though I believe it could have ended differently if it weren’t for some defensive mis-coaching. The Patriots are an incredible team and are back into Super Bowl talks already. The Bears proved last week that they are pretenders by getting beat by Brock Osweiler. Their defense seemed lost and confused. Trubisky threw a bad INT that give the Dolphins a shot back into the game. The Bears aren’t a good team its that simple and this game is very predictable. Bills (2-4) @ Colts (1-5): The Bills battled hard last week and did so relatively impressively. They might have lost but they reminded us they aren’t as bad as we thought week 1. The Colts on the other hand are reminding us each week that they are in the bottom 3 in the NFL. Luck, Quenton Nelson, and Hilton are their only promising pieces on offense at all. Darius Leonard is their one bright spot defensively otherwise this roster is flat out ugly. I would have the Bills winning this one with Josh Allen, but with Derek Anderson replacing the injured Allen, I believe the Colts will win Colts 17 – Bills 13. – Matt

Browns (2-3-1) @ Buccaneers (2-3): The Browns got absolutely embarrassed at home last week by the Chargers. The Browns defense got exposed and Baker Mayfield failed at doing anything impressive this past week proving the hype on him needs to come down some. The Buccaneers played a thriller against Atlanta that they came up just short on, a DeShawn Jackson missed catch on a pitch cost them the game. Winston is clearly the better situation for Tampa and they will look more competitive with him back. Buccaneers 27 – Browns 26. – Matt

Lions (2-3) @ Dolphins (4-2): The Lions are coming off a bye week and I hope they schemed how to get Kerryon Johnson in the game more often. The defense and offense are both just average though. This makes the Lions pretty hard to predict each week. The Dolphins will be without Tannehill again as Osweiler will once again be starting for them. I like what we saw out of him last week and maybe he only works in an Adam Gase offense. This game is going to be interesting and could decide if the Lions have a shot at the playoffs or division shot. Dolphins 26 – Lions 23. – Matt

4 :05/:25 PM/ET:
Saints (4-1) @ Ravens (4-2): I have been thinking about this game all week long. I also believe that it should be a primetime game because this is the best game of the week for sure. The 3rd ranked offense for the Saints goes up against the top defense in the league in Baltimore. This game will be absolutely incredible. Ravens win at home from a game winning field goal from Justin Tucker. Ravens 26 – Saints 24. – Matt

Cowboys (3-3) @ Redskins (3-2): The Cowboys woke the hell up on offense last week. I believe they are finally alive, and their really good defense should help them along the way. The Redskins are as middle of the pack as a team can get. They impressed me last week though by stopping Carolina. Interesting stat about the Redskins. They are 10-10 in their last 20, 16-16-1 in their last 33, and 18-18-1 in their last 37. I believe the Cowboys are arriving and making a run for the division now. The Cowboys and Redskins have the 4th and 5th ranked divisions respectively. Cowboys 20 – Redskins 16. – Matt

Rams (6-0) @ 49ers (1-5): The Rams are the best team in the league with the best running back in the league, Todd Gurley. The Rams have a great young QB and weapons scattered around him. The 49ers really showed up last week against the Packers and Beathard proved he could be a starting QB in this league. They aren’t going to win this game, but I don’t believe they will be blown out of the water either. Rams 31 – 49ers 23 – Matt.

Bengals (4-2) @ Chiefs (5-1): The Bengals offense has been good but not a top team in the league offensively. They are going to have to try and keep pace with the Chiefs 5th ranked offense. The Bengals and Chiefs have two of the worst defenses in the NFL, so I expect this game to be high scoring and fun for the fans. Chiefs 45 – Bengals 42. – Matt

Giants (1-5) @ Falcons (2-4): This game has nothing of value to offer us as fans. The only positive is we get to see Saquon Barkley and Julio Jones. The Falcons offense is extremely potent and will do what it does best in front of their home fans. The Giants offense can’t function because they keep sticking with Eli who looks past his starting days. The Giants, Barkley, Odell, Shepard, and Engram will all improve if they give Lauletta the starting nod soon. This game should easily be the Falcons and if they lose they themselves will be to blame. Denver Broncos (2-4) @ Arizona Cardinals (1-5): Two teams who had more hope before this season started are struggling badly this year. The Broncos offense currently sits 12th in the league behind a strong running game and weaker, less consistent passing game. Their defense though has been absolutely horrible ranked 27th in the league overall. They are good against the pass though with the 11th ranked pass D but their run defense is dead last in the NFL. The Cardinals have been playing better since Rosen has taken over. Their defense has been hit or miss but this team has been playing better the past few weeks. This will surely be an interesting game and hard to call. Broncos 24 – Cardinals 20. – Matt Koontz

Week 6 NFL Season: Week 6 we will see the Saints and Lions have a bye week. We have Seattle and Oakland playing in London. Should be some crucial matchups this week so sit back and enjoy.
Buccaneers (2-2) @ Falcons (1-4): These two teams are two high powered offenses with no defense. The Buccaneers have the 31st ranked defense in the NFL and the Falcons the 28th ranked defense. This will be a shootout between Winston and Matt Ryan. Falcons 36 – Buccaneers 33. – Matt K

Panthers (3-1) @ Redskins (2-2): The Panthers have the best rushing offense in the NFL meanwhile the Redskins have the 5th overall ranked defense in the league. This game could be interesting if the Redskins actually show up unlike Monday night. Panthers 24 – Redskins 20. – Matt K

Seahawks (2-3) @ Raiders (1-4): This game is actually in London at Wembley stadium for the first game in England this year. The Seahawks played a great game against the Rams last week and looked going throughout it. The Raiders have continued to look bad and will continue to do so with their roster. Colts (1-4) @ Jets (2-3): The Colts are flat out terrible. Their defense doesn’t do anything well. Their offense isn’t fully functioning because their offensive line still isn’t complete. Their WR’s and RB’s aren’t deep. Andrew Luck is getting slowly back to his old self but for now the team will struggle. The Jets last week impressed the hell out of me. They dominated the Broncos and showed once again what they have in Darnold. Interesting game for sure in this one. Jets 23 – Colts 21. – Matt K

Cardinals (1-4) @ Vikings (2-2-1): Well the Cardinals finally got a win last week, but their offense won’t be good enough to handle the Vikings defense. The Cardinals have issues to solve and this week will be ugly for them. The Vikings offense is going to exploit the Cardinals defense and show they are a superior team. Steelers (2-2-1) @ Bengals (4-1): The Steelers actually looked good last week and if they are back to the team we expected to see they could win this division. This game will be massive though because if they start the division games 0-2-1 this year they will be out of the division race realistically. The Bengals are phenomenal. Mixon is back, their offense is high flying around him, and their defense is great. The Bengals right now look like the best team in the AFC North. Bengals 20 – Steelers 17. – Matt K

Chargers (3-2) @ Browns (2-2-1): The Chargers are a sneaky good team. Melvin is an elite RB and Rivers is still playing at an elite QB level. The Chargers 2 loses are to the Chiefs and Rams, so they are nothing to worry about. The Browns defense really showed up against the Ravens last week. Their defense can win them some tough games if it keeps playing like this. Mayfield I still haven’t been fully impressed by. Chargers 29 – Browns 20. – Matt K

Bills (2-3) @ Texans (2-3): Alright Buffalo we see you. The Bills team we saw last week was incredibly good. As we have learned though rookie QB’s have ups and downs, and the Texans might be that down again. The Texans are coming for that division title and if they win this week they remain a game behind with the roster to pull it off after a 0-3 start. Keke Coutee is being overlooked by a lot of fans. Don’t make that mistake, keep an eye on this kid. Texans 27 – Bills 19. – Matt K

Bears (3-1) @ Dolphins (3-2): Oh boy this one is tough for me. I think the Bears are way overrated being hyped because of the play of one defensive player. Their offense hasn’t really been impressive the last time we saw them everyone freaked out, but they beat the Bucs defense, lets come back to planet earth guys. The Dolphins are starting to fall back to earth and they could be crashing hard if they lose this week. Bears 23 – Dolphins 17 – Matt K

4 PM/ET Games:
Rams (5-0) @ Broncos (2-3): The Rams are one of the top teams in the league. Their secondary does get exposed at times, but their offense can make up for it. The only way a team can beat the Rams is if they slow down that offense. The Broncos on the other hand have been falling fast and Keenum has been underwhelming. Vance Joseph might be part of the problem, we will see if the Broncos are going to turn around things this week. Rams 34 – Broncos 20. – Matt K

Ravens (3-2) @ Titans (3-2): This game will be a defense battle. These two teams have great defenses that are very close to elite. The difference will come down to their offense which I believe the Ravens have a better offense and will win the game with it. If it doesn’t come down to offense it will come down to Tucker vs. Succop and we know who the better kicker is. Ravens 16 – Titans 10. – Matt K

Jaguars (3-2) @ Cowboys (2-3): The Jaguars lost a tough game against the Chiefs incredible offense. Their defense didn’t really show up though and that is quite a concern for this team. The Cowboys though have no WR’s and they won’t win games until they get them. No WR’s against this defense, they have no chance. Jaguars 31 – Cowboys 17. – Matt K

49ers (1-4) @ Packers (2-2-1): The 49ers are bad right now and are going into Lambeu on a cold Monday night after the Packers lost a game. It wont be a pleasant night for the 49ers. The Packers outplayed the Lions with exception to special teams and will rebound this week. Packers 34 – 49ers 17. – Matt K.

Eagles (2-3) @ Giants (1-4) (8:20 PM/ET): The Eagles do not look like a super bowl team anymore. They have now lost Jay Ajayi for the season with a torn ACL. I don’t like what I have seen from Wentz yet this year. The Giants I thought could rely on their defense this season, but they were exploited last week. The offense is high octane when Eli Manning is having a good day. Their run game is horrible, but Barkley surely can play a great receiving back. This game should be a very close one and is hard to call. I am going to take the upset here to kick off the week. Giants 26 – Eagles 23 – Matt Koontz.

NFL Week 5: Bye week teams this week are the Buccaneers and Bears.
Titans (3-1) @ Bills (1-3): Alright the Titans are legit, and I am done doubting them. They have a great defense, one of the best. The Titans offense has had issues with injuries, but they keep on rolling like they aren’t missing a thing. The Bills on the other hand have a rookie QB so the ups and downs will continue. Their defense has shown some positives, but they need to remain off the field a bit more, so they aren’t so exhausted. Final Score: Titans 27 – Bills 13. – Matt Koontz
Bills 28 – Titans 24 – Mike B
Titans 27 – Bills 16 – Scott
Titans 21 – Bills 10 - Josh
Titans win, 24-13. - Tyler B.
Titans 35 – Bills 21 – Blake
Titans 28 – Bills 10 – Ryan
Falcons (1-3) @ Steelers (1-2-1): The Falcons defense is no longer existent with Keanu Neal, Deion Jones, and Ricardo Allen all being gone for the year has virtually ended their season. If they lose this game they slide to 1-4 and will be too far behind really to catch up in this division. The Steelers need to find a way to win this game because the Bengals and Ravens both could move to 4-1 with a win this weekend and they don’t want to fall behind that far. The issue is that the Steelers defense hasn’t been great this year and their offense has been lacking so far this year. This game will be an offensive showdown. Final Score: Falcons 32 – Steelers 29. – Matt Koontz
Falcons 24 – Steelers 20 – Mike B
Steelers 33 – Falcons 30 – Scott
Falcons 34 – Steelers 31 – Josh
Falcons win, 28-24. - Tyler B.
Falcons 42 – Steelers 35 – Blake
Falcons 35 – Steelers 28 – Ryan
Broncos (2-2) @ Jets (1-3): The Broncos are coming off back to back losses, but they looked good for 3 quarters of the game against the Chiefs. The play of Freeman and Lindsey was phenomenal last week and the emergence of Courtland Sutton is starting to become obvious, also needed for this team. The Jets are sliding since their impressive first week. They do need to show some life around Darnold and Robby Anderson getting involved would be a great start, but against Ronald Darby that will be hard for him to do so. Final Score: Broncos 23 – Jets 17. – Matt Koontz
Jets 28 – Broncos 27 – Mike B
Broncos 23 – Jets 17 – Scott
Broncos 21 – Jets 13 - Josh
Broncos win, 20-17. - Tyler B.
Broncos 24 – Jets 17 – Blake
Broncos 21 – Jets 17 – Ryan
Jaguars (3-1) @ Chiefs (4-0): The Jaguars defense vs the Chiefs offense will be a great matchup this week. The Jaguars offense isn’t a joke though and the Chiefs terrible defense could cost them as their offense might struggle to scores against the Jaguars. Mahomes will have to try and solve the puzzle of this defense after solving the Broncos defense. Final Score: Chiefs 27 – Jaguars 24. – Matt Koontz
Jaguars 21 – Chiefs 20 – Mike B

Packers (2-1-1) @ Lions (1-3): The Packers defense might have played the Bills last week but they looked to be a top level defense. If the defense is able to continue playing well the Packers could be a super bowl contending team. Rodgers knee has really prevented him from playing at the level we are used to, thankfully with Aaron Jones back they can run the ball a good bit more. The Lions on the other hand finally have a great run game meanwhile Matt Stafford has been slow to start this year which is costing the Lions valuable ground in the division. Ravens (3-1) @ Browns (1-2-1): The Ravens offense is terrifying for the first time since Derek Mason and Steve McNair were on the roster. Buck Allen is the superior back on the roster and they kept the offense moving once Alex Collins got less time after fumbling. John Brown is the deep threat this team really needed too. Now the Browns as I have said have a future with Baker, but the future isn’t this season as Tyrod should be given the start as he is more secure with the ball. Baker turned the ball over 4 times last week against the terrible Raiders defense and will now have to play the best defense in the league. Final Score: Ravens 31 – Browns 17. – Matt Koontz

Giants (1-3) @ Panthers (2-1): The Giants are a team that is a couple years from contending. Eli isn’t consistent enough and their offensive line isn’t doing enough to open the space for Barkley to run so most of his success is now as a receiving back. He has the talent to be a dual threat but with this offensive line it doesn’t look good. The Giants defense has been great it’s a shame their front office forgot that offensive lines are important. The Panthers on the other hand have been extremely solid this year and they will be without Olsen this weekend but that hasn’t slowed them down much so far. I love what Cam is doing so far this year and their defense is way better than I thought they would be. I believe this game is simple for Carolina. Panthers 26 – Giants 13. – Matt Koontz

Dolphins (3-1) @ Bengals (3-1): The battle between the two 3-1 teams with completely different stories. Miami looked great and then got smothered by that Patriots who were struggling. That game made us all ask the simple question of which Dolphins team is the actual Dolphins team or is it an in-between? The Bengals on the other hand won an impressive game over the Falcons in Atlanta. I really enjoy the what the Bengals have this year. This week they are also getting Joe Mixon and Vontaze Burfict back which will be huge for them. Bengals 31 – Dolphins 20. – Matt Koontz

Raiders (1-3) @ Chargers (2-2): The Raiders defense is going to continue getting shredded this season and give them no real hope at a good season under Gruden’s first tenure. They turned Baker over 4 times and still managed to let the Browns get 42 points, that is pathetic. The Chargers are coming in off a tough win against the Garrapolo-less 49ers. The offense isn’t the issue and will explode again this week. The defense is struggling even with a great team, its almost like Bosa is their defense which I admit he is incredible, but his heart and passion have to be questioned if he is truly only missing for a bone bruise. If its something more significant than I don’t doubt him but if it’s a bone bruise CMON MAN. Either way Rivers > Carr, Chargers WR’s > Raiders WR’s, Melvin > Lynch + Martin, Chargers D > Oakland D. This one is easy. Chargers 46 – Raiders 27. – Matt Koontz

Cardinals (0-4) @ 49ers (1-3): The Cardinals are a better team with Josh Rosen at the helm and this week is their best chance this season to pick up a win. I like what Rosen showed us last week more than what we saw from Baker, Darnold, or Josh Allen last week, regardless of the loss. The 49ers are going to struggle without an arm that can air it deep but Beathard is a good QB and will give them a pretty good shot to win any week with him at the helm. Breida has been a beast which helps the 49ers and their defense is decent enough to keep them in games. This game is hard to call really. Cardinals 24 – 49ers 20. – Matt Koontz

Vikings (1-2-1) @ Eagles (2-2): The Vikings defense has gone AWOL this yea. Did they think getting Cousins means you can take time off? I have no idea what is happening in Minnesota but have no doubts Mike Zimmer will fix that nonsense. The one issue I do worry will continue to plague the Vikings is Kirk Cousins fumbles as they have been way too often this year. The Eagles had a lot of missing pieces to start the year on offense and they are coming back. They might take some time to get there but these Eagles will be legit contenders in a couple weeks. This game is tough to call because both teams are better than they have played, and both could become that team we expect to see anytime soon. Vikings 16 – Eagles 13. – Matt Koontz

Cowboys (2-2) @ Texans (1-3): The battle for Texas on Sunday night football. Thank god this game isn’t Joe Buck and Troy Aikman or we would hear about Zeke morning to night. This should be a great game the 2nd best back in the league right now in Zeke vs an explosive offense with a shiny new toy named Keke Coutee. This will be fun fans buckle up for a great Sunday night game. I believe the home team is the better team regardless of records because they at least have WR’s that can do something which will make the difference in this game. Redskins (2-1) @ Saints (3-1): The Redskins have been a nice surprise this season and are coming off a bye week. They have a great QB and a decent WR corps. Jordan Reed is definitely going to need to stay healthy for this offense to still be good. Their opponent the Saints have been so dangerous regardless of their horrendous defense. They can’t expect to go far if their defense doesn’t come around but for now their high-octane offense is fun as hell to watch. They are getting Mark Ingram back making the duo of Kamara and Ingram a terrifying thing to be unleashed onto the league this Sunday for a 2nd straight season. Colts (1-3) @ Patriots (2-2): I don’t like the Colts this season, Luck is improving, their defense has not. Their offensive line still isn’t great, and their run game has ups and downs. The Patriots looked like the good ol’ Patriots of old last week. Brady and Belichick will not faulter in primetime. They are also getting Edelman back this week and Sony Michel is giving their offense a good true RB. Patriots 32 – Colts 20. – Matt Koontz (35-28).

NFL Week 4: Well week 3 didn’t go as we thought it would, but the NFL always has those odd weeks from time to time. This week will be fun as we have a lot of really good games and we have 2 new people writing and picking with us. Welcome Ryan Buck and Josh Hartley who thought they would enjoy getting in on this fun. We are all from a group called FAST – Fantasy And Sports Talk, search us on Facebook. There are two teams on bye this week as the Redskins and Panthers are both in the first bye weeks of the season. Here we go week 4.
Jets (1-2) @ Jaguars (2-1) (FOX): The Jets let the Browns storm back last week behind Baker Mayfield as the ups and downs of a rookie QB continue. I would like to see Darnold with a true number 1 WR and a better pure lead back. The Jets are going to need every bit of their defense to keep this game close if they want to pull off a win. The Jaguars are coming off a tough loss where their offense was sleeping, and Bortles couldn’t get going what-so-ever. I believe it was the division rivalry nonsense that happens to division rivals. The Jaguars are still a top AFC team, and I don’t expect them to lose this one because if they do they are not a real contender. Jaguars 27 – Jets 17.

Dolphins (3-0) @ Patriots (1-2) (CBS): The Dolphins are still unbeaten and if they can pull off a win this week they have a pretty demanding chokehold on the division. The defense seems like the real deal and so far Tannehill has done enough to impress me after basically two full seasons away with knee injuries. The Dolphins need Kenyan Drake to get more involved this week if they want to pick up the win against a tough division rival. The Patriots are really spinning their wheels, but this is what you get for not spending the money Tom Brady keeps taking as a pay cut. They should have been getting Tom some really good WR’s so the offense can exist as their defense couldn’t stop a bunch of college schools offenses. The Patriots era could really be over, we will see this week, if they don’t win they fall 3 games back already in their division. Patriots 31 – Dolphins 24.

Eagles (2-1) @ Titans (2-1) (FOX): This game should be interesting. I liked pieces of what I saw from the Eagles last week and saw a lot I didn’t like. I do feel Wentz was rushed back, but he survived his first week back and will slowly take steps into looking like the Wentz of last year. The Titans defense impressed us all last weekend and shut down the Jags which is a task the Patriots couldn’t do. The Titans are 2-1 without a healthy Mariota and a banged-up Bortles as well. Their offensive line isn’t healthy either, yet they keep on surprising us. This game will be a test of the Titans defense again and the Eagles offense. Eagles 20 – Titans 17.

Texans (0-3) @ Colts (1-2) (CBS): Look the Texans are a great team, but for some unknown reason they haven’t scored much in the first half. They in 3 games have only scored 19 points in the first half, but 40 in the 2nd half. While only allowing 19 in the 2nd half yet here they are at 0-3. That’s because they are terrible in the 1st half of football games and I can’t for the life of me figure out why. The Colts are coming in off a rough loss, and they need to see more out of Andrew Luck. He has been slow so far this year and Colts fans have to hope its just rust not actually something still effecting his shoulder. I do worry it is his shoulder because last week when needing a hail marry they threw in Jacoby Brissett at QB to throw one deep because Lucks arm strength isn’t fully back yet. This is tough, but I have a feeling the Texans have a good full game. Texans 28 – Colts 23.

Bills (1-2) @ Packers (1-1-1) (CBS): The Bills defense came to play last week and shut down the Vikings against everyone’s expectations. Josh Allen proved he can run and do so with finesse and power. It is a shame the Bills don’t have better weapons for their good young rookie QB. If the defense can play at the elite level they just played the Vikings with they could really give the Packers a run for their money in Lambeau which we know is no easy task. The Packers are coming off in my eyes what seems to be an embarrassing loss in DC last week. The Packers need to get a run game going if they want Rodgers to have less pressure on him. I really think they could be a great team if they went and traded one of their two first round picks and a small kicker for Le’Veon Bell. Get Rodgers a great ground game and they will be contenders for a Super Bowl. Packers 30 – Bills 24.

Lions (1-2) @ Cowboys (1-2) (FOX): Wow, Matt Patricia showed up and coached one hell of a game for the Lions against the Pats on Sunday Night football. The Lions finally got a 100-yard rusher in over a full season, I hope they continue to lean on Kerryon Johnson, he has the talent to be a top 10 RB. I really think if they Lions can run the ball behind the rookie monster that will get Matt Stafford off the ground and bring this offense back to full life. The Cowboys flat out need WR’s. The fact that they didn’t go get Josh Gordon is mind blowing. Jeremy Maclin, I believe is a FA and I personally do not see why they don’t try that route it can’t be worse than the crew they have assembled for Dak currently. I just don’t believe in the Cowboys with no supporting cast around Dak besides Zeke, Dak isn’t a good enough QB to not have better WR’s. Lions 26 – Cowboys 19.

Buccaneers (2-1) @ Bears (2-1) (FOX): The Buccaneers, I don’t believe know who their QB is entering this week. They stormed back last week but fell just short against the Steelers. They have a good roster but the drama around the QB position is now going to cause issues if they don’t just select a starter and stick by them unless things get out of hand. The Bears struggled against a bad Arizona team as Trubisky is still not fully developed into a great QB yet. The defense will hold up though, as they will with Khalil Mack as the leader of their defense. I like the Bears odds to move to 3-1 this weekend. Bears 26 – Buccaneers 23.

Bengals (2-1) @ Falcons (1-2) (CBS): The Bengals struggled last week as I think they will do without Joe Mixon. He is important to this roster and their success, but I believe Tyler Boyd will continue to prove he is a new weapon of Dalton’s and once they get Mixon back will be a tough team to handle for opposing defenses. The Falcons defense keeps on losing major pieces as they have already lost Deion Jones and Keanu Neal. They are now without Ricardo Allen as well for the year as this team is going to struggle badly defensively. The offense better be ready to air it out weekly because their defense will struggle to slow down top passing offenses. This is one is really tough to call. Bengals 31 – Falcons 28.

Seahawks (1-2) @ Cardinals (0-3) (FOX): The Seahawks are coming in off a win regardless of letting Zeke run all over them. Russell Wilson regardless of having the 31st ranked offensive line is a beast and honestly can only be slowed down and not stopped. There is only one QB in the league I find more entertaining to watch lately and that is Patrick Mahomes. The Cardinals are a bad team who way overpaid a QB that doesn’t fit their system and isn’t worth the money. Josh Rosen is going to be starting his first game of his career only after 3 games of waiting behind Bradford. Not a full 3 games either as he came in with 2 minutes left against the Bears. I think Rosen is being rushed into this situation but will learn through hellfire on his own. I do believe he is a great QB but will grow in this league and need time to do so. This game will be close. Seahawks 26 – Cardinals 21.

Browns (1-1-1) @ Raiders (0-3) (FOX): The Browns won a game last week on Thursday night football. They didn’t look great doing so offensively it took them to put in a QB that the Jets weren’t prepared for. I do believe their defense is a top-level defense but I would like to see more out of Baker Mayfield before I jump on the wagon like everyone else. The Raiders are now 0-3 after giving up a good lead last week against the Dolphins. I have heard there is turmoil between Gruden and their front office in Oakland. The defense looked pretty good in the first 3 quarters of that games last week. Carr and Amari need to do a lot more than they have so far this year though and get this Raiders offense off the ground. This game will be an interesting one to watch. Browns 20 – Raiders 17.

Saints (2-1) @ Giants (1-2) (CBS): The Saints just wouldn’t go away last week against the Falcons. Their offense is lethal, but their defense has introverted back to their old ways of not being able to stop anyone. The Saints better hope Lattimore can slow down OBJ because if he can then the Saints and the best WR in the league right now, Michael Thomas, will roll. The Giants have a great weapon in OBJ and Barkley is a great pass catching RB and has the skills to be a top 10 RB in the league but they offensive line isn’t helping anyone. I believe Cam Jordan is actually going to make a difference in this one and Saints pass rush slows down Eli enough. Saints 36 – Giants 23.

49ers (1-2) @ LA Chargers (1-2) (CBS): The 49ers will be without Jimmy G for the rest of the season. They will be going forward with CJ Beathard so it seems and I believed in him last year and I believe he isn’t as bad as the average fan is making him seem. He won’t be able to win them a bunch of games but with help he can keep this team fairly competitive. The Chargers are now without Bosa for longer than they originally thought, it has to be worse than a bone bruise right? The Chargers offense is pretty awesome but their defense isn’t really doing what we thought they would this year but if they come around the Chargers could be a serious playoff team. I love the Chargers in this one even if the 49ers had Jimmy G. Chargers 32 – 49ers 20.

Ravens (2-1) @ Steelers (1-1-1): The Ravens have a legit roster with the retooled WR’s around Joe and their offense looks great. They have Alex Collins and Javorious Allen running well behind an offensive line we thought would be bad before the season started. The defense is as always gritty and tough even with CJ Mosley injured they still seem elite. When they add Hayden Hurst into this offense they will be even scarier of a team. I actually like the Ravens right now a lot. The Steelers on the other hand still have no Le’Veon Bell because he believes he is worth more than what 14 million in one season? Anyway Big Ben looked great last week and the offense is back alive even without Bell because Conner can do a good enough job to pick them up wins. This game will be gritty as always between these two teams that loathe each other but I believe the superior team will win this game. Ravens 20 – Steelers 17.

Monday Night 8:15 PM/ET (ESPN):
Chiefs (3-0) @ Broncos (2-1): The Chiefs are riding a phenomenal Patrick Mahomes and the weapons all over their roster. The Chiefs defense is one of the worst in the league but their offense can outscore what their defense will allow them to score. The Broncos are behind an offense who needs to do more if they want to keep up with their division rival Chiefs. Their defense also isn’t as elite as it used to be, and it could cost them in games like this where they are going to be required to slow down a defense or explode offensively. I think the Broncos are slightly in over their head in this one. Chiefs 31 – Broncos 27. - Matt Koontz

Vikings (1-1-1) @ Rams (3-0): The Vikings last week at home were flat out embarrassed by the Buffalo Bills. Cousins fumbled 3 times and threw an INT as well. The Vikings need Cousins to be play at a much higher level as they take on the best team in the league on the road on a short week. No Dalvin Cook is hurting this offense as well and they need to rely on Mike Boone in my eyes more than they need to use Lat Murray not that they got many running opportunities as they fell far behind late. Their opponents this week, the Rams, are the best team in the league. The Rams offense doesn’t slow down with all the weapons they have. Todd Gurley is having an MVP caliber season. Their defense is as elite as the names on paper would make you believe which was my worry entering this season. They will be without Talib and Marcus Peters this game though and that would cause worry for their secondary against a team with Kirk Cousins, Stefon Diggs, and Adam Thielen. This game could be very interesting if the Vikings put the Bills game behind them and have returned to their old selves. I am really pumped for this Thursday night game. NFL Week 3: Week 2 was crazy. We now started the season with 2 straight weeks with a tie as the Packers and Vikings tied after some bad refs and a couple missed kicks in OT. We saw that the money spent on Bradford was wasted. The Steelers gave up 6 passing TDs to Mahomes and look really bad defensively. Here come the week 3 predictions.
Satins (1-1) @ Falcons (1-1) (FOX): The Saints got lucky they managed their first win this season. They played a subpar game last weekend and should have lost to the Browns but Zane Gonzalez is struggling terribly in Cleveland and gave the Saints a win in OT. Now the Falcons impressed me last week with a win over the Panthers. I didn’t expect them to win without Devonta Freeman against a solid team like Carolina. The Falcons looked so much better in the RedZone last week and if they can keep that up they are a top 3 NFC team. I almost want to predict a 3rd tie for the year here. Packers (1-0-1) @ Redskins (1-1) (FOX): Well the Packers got a tie last week with a massive brace on Aaron Rodgers knee. With a limited QB they still managed to tie a tough Minnesota defense, so they should be positive about the result. Aaron Jones is back and he is the best back in the backfield for them and could really help Rodgers produce. The Redskins really disappointed last week. A large part of it is that the team needs a run game and Adrian Peterson went AWOL last week. If he can get back on track the Skins will be back in the win column, but the Packers are a tough team to run against so this week might not go well for them. Packers 31 – Redskins 20. - Matt K
Green Bay Packers @ Washington Redskins. The Packers are struggling right now even though they have been successful to open the season. The Redskins are extremely streaky. That being said, they get lucky in this one. Final score: Redskins 21, Packers 20. - Mike B
Packers 20 – Redskins 17 – Tyler Belfield
Packers 35 – Redskins 28 – Blake English
Packers 32 – Redskins 16 – Jonathan Morales
Packers 38 – Redskins 10 - Brandon Merrell
Packers 33 – Redskins 21 – Scott Barbine
Packers 34 – Redskins 20 – Eric
Colts (1-1) @ Eagles (1-1) (FOX): I really believe the Colts showed life last week as I didn’t really give them much of a chance. Marlon Mack from the pieces of the game I saw looked impressive last week and if they can establish a good run game it will really open up the skies for Andrew Luck. I like what they did defensively to stop the Skins last week. Their defense is going to need to test if Wentz is fully healthy and put him under pressure early and often especially with Ajayi out. The Eagles will be The Eagles will be with Wentz for the first time this season. I am worried they rushed him back after the loss to the Buccaneers, but we will see this weekend what kind of shape he is in. I really love Wentz and his talent so if he is healthy I will be happy to see him back. I do worry about the Eagles offense without Ajayi, but Corey Clement is a beast and possibly could do great in his place. Eagles 24 – Colts 16. - Matt K
Indianapolis Colts @ Philadelphia Eagles. The surprisingly competitive Colts travel to Philly to take on the Eagles in Carson Wentz's return to NFL action. Wentz gives Philly the edge in this one. Final score: Eagles 24, Colts 18. - Mike B
Eagles 30 – Colts 20 – Scott Barbine
Colts 21 – Eagles 17 – Brandon Merrell
Eagles 35 – Colts 31 – Blake English
Colts 28 – Eagles 17 – Jonathan Morales
Eagles 23 – Colts 16 – Tyler Belfield
Eagles 35 – Colts 24 - Eric
Bills (0-2) @ Vikings (1-0-1) (CBS): The Bills are far from the team that they were last year, a large part of that is due to the loss of Tyrod Taylor. They have a terrible QB situation because Josh Allen wasn’t NFL ready and they have had to throw him into the fire because of Nathan Peterman being a joke. Allen still looks a whole lot better than Peterman. A game against the Vikings isn’t going to be good at all for a Bills team with no offensive line, no truly great WR’s, and no worth while TE’s. The Vikings could have beat the Packers, but Cousins couldn’t get the job done in OT and they had to rely on a rookie kicker who missed both field goal attempts in OT to give the Vikings a tie. Good week to be without Dalvin as they won’t need him for this win. They will rebound this week with an inferior team. Vikings 36 – Bills 3 - Matt K
Buffalo Bills @ Minnesota Vikings. An offensive train wreck facing one of the best rosters in football? I'll take the Vikings all day. Final score: Vikings 28, Bills 3. - Mike B
Vikings 30 – Bills 6 – Tyler Belfield
Vikings 32 – Bills 10 – Jonathan Morales
Vikings 35 – Bills 7 – Blake English

Raiders (0-2) @ Dolphins (2-0) (CBS): Gruden and the Raiders are in some serious trouble. Their defense wouldn’t be able to stop a high school team, so it seems. If they want to win games this year their defense better step-up and start making some plays besides Gareon Conley. The Dolphins are impressing the world. Their defense is incredibly talented, and Adam Gase is doing some good things with this offense a lot of people thought was dead without Jarvis Landry. Tannehill has looked pretty decent so far this season. Dolphins 24 – Raiders 17 - Matt K
Oakland Raiders @ Miami Dolphins. Jon Gruden and the Raiders need to win a game at some point.. This might be the week. I'm going with the Raiders against Miami. Final score: Raiders 21, Dolphins 20. - Mike B

Broncos (2-0) @ Ravens (1-1) (CBS): The Broncos got gifted a comeback win last week as the Raiders with a 9 point lead late in the 4th went for it on 4th down and failed, giving the Broncos and Keenum a chance to drive down the field and get back into the game. The Broncos defense is still pretty stellar, not like their Super Bowl days, but still top 10 talent. The offense with Phillip Lindsey is playing phenomenally and once Courtland Sutton gets more involved their offense could be explosive. Now the Ravens offensive line was exposed last week giving Joe Flacco no time to throw the ball, and when he had time to throw the ball he had wild throws that led to INT’s this forced them to try and fight back from a big deficit. Ravens 21 – Broncos 17. - Matt K
Denver Broncos @ Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens need a rebound game after losing to the Bengals. The Broncos are 2-0, but lose this one on the road. Final score: Ravens 17, Broncos 14. - Mike B

Bengals (2-0) @ Panthers (1-1) (CBS): The Bengals are rolling behind a great defense and an Andy Dalton that looks alive. The Bengals look like a legit playoff contender this season which none of us saw coming. They are better than their entire division as of right now not just by record, but talent on the teams. The Panthers defense last week disappointed, they couldn’t stop a De’Vonta Freeman-less offense. They had a positive as we saw DJ Moore’s first ever touchdown reception and it was a beautiful catch and run. Carolina is still a great team in this division and Cam looks good with actual weapons, that without Olsen on the field. This game is the best game of the 1 PM games. Bengals 20 – Panthers 18. - Matt K
Cincinnati Bengals @ Carolina Panthers. I don't know how much I believe in the Bengals, but their win on Thursday night shows me that this is a much improved team from last year. They might just go into Carolina and pull off a win. Final score: Bengals 23, Panthers 21. - Mike B

Giants (0-2) @ Texans (0-2) (FOX): The Giants as I have said aren’t going to magically be a better team and dominate people like the world media seems to think just because Odell is back. Barkley as I have said time and time again is a top 5 pass catching RB in the league. Between the tackles though he is not a top 12 RB especially with that offensive line in front of him. I am sorry Giants fans but be ready for a rough season this year. The Texans are starting slow apparently, but I believe they will wake up eventually as they have the talent on their roster to do so. DeShaun Watson hasn’t been what we hoped he would be this year, YET. Texans 32 – Giants 23. - Matt K
New York Giants @ Houston Texans. One of these teams needs to win (or the game ends in a tie). Houston has the better team overall and should win this one at home. Final score: Texans 28, Giants 14. - Mike B

Titans (1-1) @ Jaguars (2-0) (CBS): The Titans nailed last week on the head and exposed some weaknesses in Houston’s game plan. Mariota is as normal through his career dealing with an injury. He is possibly not going to play a 2nd consecutive week but Gabbert is a very capable backup and will give them a better chance to win this game as Mariota injured would. Now the Jaguars shocked me last week by stomping on the Pats and pissing off Tom Brady at the same time. Jalen Ramsey shut down Gronk every time he covered him. The Jags are a phenomenal team with talent everywhere and if Gabbert keeps playing well they might be the best team in the league. Though I do believe the Jags are a better team without Fournette in the lineup and that’s not a Fournette issue, it’s the way he is being used. Yeldon and Corey Grant give them versatility and an unpredictable offense. Fournette could too because he has the talent and speed to do so but the Jags and Doug Marone just don’t seem to use him this way which is a let-down to the teams’ full potential. Anyway, sorry for the ramble. Score prediction time, Jaguars 27 – Titans 17. - Matt K
Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars. The Titans, with Mariota unhealthy, heading into Jacksonville to face one of the league's best defenses? I'll take the Jaguars. Final score: Jaguars 24, Titans 23 - Mike B
Jaguars 23 – Titans 16 – Tyler Belfield
Jaguars 28 – Titans 10 – Jonathan Morales

49ers (1-1) @ Chiefs (2-0) (FOX): Well Jimmy G looked okay last week but not great as he was sacked 6 times and only threw for 206 yards in their win over Detroit. The 49ers will probably get stuck in a game of firepower in which I do not believe they have the QB or talent to keep up with their opposition in such a battle. The Chiefs have the guy who is slinging the ball better than anyone else right now in Patrick Mahomes. This kid has the talent to be one of the best in the league some day though he is already showing that right now. Kareem Hunt needs to get a few more carries and get more involved with this offense to keep defenses more honest moving forward. Though the talent and staff they have built in KC is incredible and I believe we will see them move to 3-0 this week. Chiefs 35 – 49ers 28. - Matt K
San Francisco 49ers @ Kansas City Chiefs. Nobody is better than Andy Reid in September. They win a big one at home this week. Final score: Chiefs 28, 49ers 14. - Mike B
Chiefs 20 – 49ers 10 – Tyler Belfield
Chiefs 34 – 49ers 16 – Jonathan Morales

Chiefs 40 – 49ers 21 - Brandon Merrell
49ers 20 – Chiefs 17 in OT - Eric
Chargers (1-1) @ Rams (2-0) (CBS): The game of the week. I wish Bosa would man up and play this week. I understand he has been dealing with a bone bruise but 3 weeks now, its time to suit up for the sake of your team. The Chargers without Bosa defensively are just a different team. If this game happened at full health for both rosters it could be game of the year. The Rams and Chargers steam rolled to wins last week as Melvin Gordon and Todd Gurley are both having incredible starts to the season and will make this a fun game for the fans. Chargers get the upset 25 – Rams 23. - Matt K
LA Chargers @ LA Rams. This might be my favorite matchup of the week. Two great defenses facing off. This game is going to be extremely fun to watch, but I think the Rams ultimately win in close fashion. Final score: Rams 28, Chargers 27. - Mike B
Rams 27 – Chargers 16 – Tyler Belfield

Rams 33 – Chargers 27 in OT - Eric
Cowboys (1-1) @ Seahawks (0-2) (FOX): This game has two struggling teams meeting up, regardless of a win last week Dallas looked rough. The Cowboys can’t get Zeke going if they can’t pass the ball and that isn’t Dak’s fault it’s a lack of weapons for Dak to throw too. I honestly believe his best receiver on the team is his RB, which is just flat out sad. The Seahawks offensive line can’t protect Russell Wilson and its time to worry he might not last the season at this pace without an injury. They also can’t seem to open any seems for the RB’s to get going either which just leaves more pressure on Russell to get the job done and without Doug Baldwin that’s a lot tougher of a task. I believe the 12th man plays a difference this weekend though. Seahawks 23 – Cowboys 17. - Matt K
Dallas Cowboys @ Seattle Seahawks. Both of these teams are off to disappointing starts, but the Seahawks have more talent. I'm taking Seattle at home. Final score: Seahawks 27, Cowboys 24. - Mike B
Seahawks 16 – Cowboys 15 – Tyler Belfield
Seahawks 24 – Cowboys 13 – Jonathan Morales

Bears (1-1) @ Cardinals (0-2) (FOX): The Bears defense is alive with Khalil Mack and it is benefiting the offense. The Bears are going to be competitive this season because of this defense, but I do not believe Trubisky is at the point yet where he will pick up the wins on last minute drives. The Cardinals might be the worst, at least the 2nd worst, team in the league right now. They aren’t giving DJ enough touches and Sam Bradford is way overpaid and terribly underperforming. The Cardinals are sadly wasting the last few years of Larry Fitz’s career with this roster. Bears 30 – Cardinals 14. - Matt K
Chicago Bears @ Arizona Cardinals. I have to give the Bears this one as a tribute to the late Dennis Green. They're the better team, and they are who the Cardinals think they are. Will Arizona let them off the hook? I'm going to crown them. Final score: Bears 28, Cardinals 12. - Mike B

SNF 8:20 PM/ET (NBC):
Patriots (1-1) @ Lions (0-2): Matt Patricia vs the team he used to be defensive coordinator for. The Lions are limping into this game truly struggling. The Lions are falling apart around their playoff winless overpaid QB. Stafford in my eyes ate too much of their cap space and were unable to give him the talent he needs around him to get them where they believe they can go. The Patriots are not going to lose a 2nd consecutive week especially against his former defensive coordinator. This game should be a shootout though and fun for the fans on Sunday night football. Patriots 34 – Lions 29. - Matt Koontz
New England Patriots @ Detroit Lions. The Patriots should win this game, but the Lions are a desperate team. Could Matt Patricia use his knowledge of Belichick's schemes beat him? I'm going with the upset. Final score: Lions 28, Patriots 3. - Mike B

MNF 8:15 PM/ET (ESPN):
Steelers (0-1-1) @ Buccaneers (2-0): FITZMAGIC is alive and kicking. It normally only lasts until the guy he is replacing is able to return then he tends to turn into the backup quality QB. Good news for the Buccaneers, this would be the last week of that magic Fitz, in primetime against a good team. Mike Tomlin has lost control of his team and is going the wrong way. Antonio Brown is a drama queen and Le’Veon Bell thinks he should hold out for money to make more than the people that protect this country make or the educators of this country make just to be an entertainer. The Steelers are falling apart at the seems and Mike Tomlin is the reason because he has no control over this roster. Buccaneers 31 – Steelers 26. - Matt Koontz
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Ryan Fitzpatrick is not an elite quarterback, but he's playing like one. Meanwhile the Steelers are a team in turmoil. The Buccaneers could win this one on Monday night to start out 3-0. Final score: Buccaneers 24, Steelers 23.--Mike B

Thursday Night Football week 3:
Jets (1-1) @ Browns (0-1-1): (NFL Network) @ 8:20 PM/ET: Last Thursday’s game was very entertaining, and I expect us to see something similar this weekend. The Jets are a young team, we will see the ups and downs all season long. Darnold is a monster, he is just going to have growing pains as he learns the league and the schemes of the NFL defenses. On the other side the Browns fans need to calm the hell down and stop calling for Baker to be the starter. You are a good kicker away from being 2-0 that has nothing to do with Tyrod Taylor. He is doing exactly what the Browns need. The defense of the Browns is looking like a top 10 defense in the league and will be a tough one to crack for the Jets. I am excited for this game. Final Score: Browns 23 – Jets 18. – Matt Koontz (16-16).
After nearly defeating both the Saints and the Steelers, the Cleveland Browns are who I thought they were pre-season, a surprisingly good football team. The only reason that they are not currently 2-0 is due to missed kicks, and they face a team that is still experiencing growing pains in the Jets. Cleveland fans, the long winless streak ends this Thursday night against the Jets, at home, on Thursday night. Browns win. Final score: Browns 21, Jets 12.--Mike B. (15-17)
Browns win 23 - 17 over the Jets. Jonathan Morales (0-0),
Browns 28 - Jets 14. First win for the Browns in almost 2 years. Blake English (15-17).
Jets 20 - Browns 14. - Brandon Merrell (9-7).
Jets win, 23-20. - Tyler B (15-17).
Browns win, 17-14 - Javier Campos (0-0)
Browns win, 17-14 as well. - Eric Jacinto (14-18).
Browns 31 - Jets 13 in dominant fashion. - Scott Barbine (18-14).
Week 2 NFL Predictions: Week 1 came and went, shocking us in some aspects. The Panthers will be without Greg Olsen for a handful of weeks as he suffered fractures in his foot. The Titans lost Delanie Walker for the season due to an ankle injury. The Falcons defense has taken 2 major blows as Deion Jones will be out for at least 8 weeks with a foot injury and Keanu Neal will miss the entire season after tearing his ACL last Thursday. The injury bug is striking some crucial players in the NFL already and once again they are mostly lower body as we keep protecting the upper body. The NFL is run by the wrong guy and it continues to show in the new rules. One new rule really impacted some games this weekend and made football nearly unwatchable and that rule is the personal foul for landing with your bodyweight on a QB. It is absolutely pathetic. They already are the most protected and highest paid position in the league how much more do you need to do for them. Anyway, rant over week 2 predictions coming at you.
Panthers (1-0) @ Falcons (0-1) (FOX): The Falcons will need to find some redzone scores if they want to win games. I am starting to buy into Collin Cowherd’s comparisons to Andy Dalton for Matt Ryan. The Panthers defense made Dak and Zeke look like nothing. I would like to see the Panthers offense get DJ Moore more involved as he is ready to contribute, and Cam needs a more explosive threat. The Panthers will exploit theloss of Deion Jones and Keanu Neal this weekend. Panthers 23 – Falcons 20.
Colts (0-1) @ Redskins (1-0) (CBS): The Colts offense needs more weapons. They have no true RB, no true good tight end, and only 1 great WR. Luck doesn’t have much of an offensive line in front of him and it will prevent them from winning many games this year. The Redskins offense might be missing Guice, but Alex Smith continues to look impressive no matter where he goes. I am not sold yet on the Skins, but they looked good week 1 against a solid Arizona defense. Redskins 32 – Colts 27.
Texans (0-1) @ Titans (0-1) (CBS): Marcus Mariota was beat up week 1 as he has been his whole career thus far. He is a go this week but with Watt and Clowney coming at him I would be worried if I was a Titans fan. Their WR’s need to help Mariota out especially without Delanie Walker around. The Texans started last week in Foxboro way too slow to beat Tom Brady, but they could easily win this weekend as long as Watson gets going early and fast. No Delanie and no WR’s breaking open mean the Titans lose big. Texans 30 – Titans 13.
Eagles (1-0) @ Buccaneers (1-0) (FOX): The Buccaneers impressed everyone last week and Ryan Fitz made a case for Winston to ride the bench when he returns from his suspension. If Fitz can do it again this week he might truly make the push for the starting job a legit threat. The Eagles are a good team and Nick Foles is leading them again this week against a terrible pass defense. I don’t like the Eagles WR’s much, but they get the job done enough. Eagles 24 – Buccaneers 20.
Chiefs (1-0) @ Steelers (0-0-1) (CBS): The Steelers are in TROUBLE. Ben isn’t the elite QB he used to be, and their defense isn’t as stellar as all the so-called experts claim it is. They tied the Browns last week and people can say it was because they didn’t have Bell, but that is just a pathetic and weak excuse because James Conner had a great game in his place. The Chiefs shocked me a bit last week with their overall domination of the Chargers. Patrick Mahomes is the real deal as I have been saying since college years and he will become a top 5 QB by the end of the 2019 season. I love what the Chiefs have this year even more than I thought previously. Chiefs 28 – Steelers 23.
Dolphins (1-0) @ Jets (1-0) (CBS): The Dolphins are a better team than most people thought and played a crazy game last week that lasted over 7 hours total due to over 4 hours of storm delays. Tannehill is healthy and that could be huge for them this year, but we need to see more out of him to be convinced of that. The Jets have the best rookie QB and he is a monster. He took advantage of Matt Stafford declining and showed how much talent Darnold has. Darnold is going to take this team to a better season than last year and their defense is scary fast to the ball. Jets 25 – Dolphins 16.
Chargers (0-1) @ Bills (0-1) (CBS): The Bills made a massive mistake for starting Nathan Peterman. The Bills defense didn’t do much last week and are a cause for concern. The Bills are the worst team in the league and are going to be that way all season long. Josh Allen will struggle this year but hopefully they don’t throw in the towel on him while he struggles. He will develop and become a good QB in the league if they are patient with him. The Chargers on the other hand have the roster to win it all this year. The only issue is Joey Bosa’s toughness is something I am starting to question. He seems to be injured often and missing games for a bone bruise comes down to toughness for me. The Chargers will bounce back big time this week and win this game big. Chargers 32 – Bills 10.
Vikings (1-0) @ Packers (1-0) (FOX): The Packers made one of the most impressive comebacks I have ever seen last week and did so because Aaron Rodgers returned to the game and showed that he truly is one of the best of all time. Rodgers is questionable this week and if he doesn’t play I will edit my pick for sure. The Vikings defense proved they are poised to lead the league in takeaways. They made Garrapolo look terrible. Kirk Cousins will get better with this team as he gets more used to them. For now, with Rodgers playing, Packers 23 – Vikings 21.
Browns (0-0-1) @ Saints (0-1) (FOX): The Saints defense was supposed to be impressive this year, but last week we saw them exploited by the speed of DJAX and strength of Evans. The Browns will test the Saints defense this week as well with a mobile QB, a speedy Josh Gordon, and the hands of Jarvis Landry. The Browns surprised everyone when they tied the Steelers. They aren’t a playoff team yet, but they are getting close. This game could be fun to watch. Saints 30 – Browns 26.
4 PM/ET Games:
Lions (0-1) @ 49ers (0-1): I saw pieces of greatness in Jimmy G last week but then saw moments of Kyle Boller in Jimmy as well last week. There were times where Jimmy was staring down his receiver the entire time without looking off a defender or checking his other options which will get him eaten alive in this league. Jimmy is a slightly above average QB and hopefully won’t stare down anyone being covered by Darius Slay this weekend because that will lead to more INT’s. The Lions better hope their team isn’t as trash as they seemed on Monday night because that was downright embarrassing. 5 INTs thrown and 4 of them by one of the highest paid QB’s in the league. Stafford hasn’t won a playoff game and gets paid an insane amount of money, he better catch fire this weekend against the 49ers. 49ers 30 – Lions 17.
Cardinals (0-1) @ Rams (1-0) (FOX): The Rams were sleeping in the first half last week, but once they woke up we saw what the best team in the league looks like. The Rams are going to continue to improve if they stay healthy too as their new pieces grow together. This team is going to be exciting to watch all year. Cardinals fans I am sorry you paid Sam Bradford so much money and are going to go nowhere. He is far from a solution and your defense needs to step it up if they want to even have shots in games against middle of the pack teams. Rams 34 – Cardinals 17.
Patriots (1-0) @ Jaguars (1-0) (CBS): The Patriots looked good last week which I was worried they wouldn’t with Edelman and Malcom Butler both gone. Good ol’ Belichick keeps on winning with whatever his roster has on it as long as it has Tom Brady on it. The Jaguars on the other hand have a QB I do not trust and Fournette might be missing this weekend due to a hamstring issue. If they don’t have Fournette we could see a blowout. I still expect the Pats to go 2-0 with or without Fournette on the Jaguars side though because Blake Bortles is far from elite. Patriots 24 – Jaguars 16.
Raiders (0-1) @ Broncos (1-0) (CBS): The terrible commentary crew on Monday night made it seem like the Raiders were the best team in the league because their buddy John Gruden was head coach. They are not. The team is missing elements now without a top pass rusher on the roster and Derek Carr just doesn’t look like he did 2 years ago. The Broncos on the other hand are paying a system QB millions to throw 3 INTS to a questionable secondary, and its okay to the media because Elway made that decision so why question him? This game could be a messy one and really has no meaning in the end to this division as these are the 3rd and 4th place teams of this division when the season is over. Broncos 21 – Raiders 17.
SNF 8:20 PM/ET on NBC:
Giants (0-1) @ Cowboys (0-1): Well no shock here that these two are 0-1. Zeke couldn’t run last week against a stingy Carolina defense, and Dak continues to prove he isn’t that special without a top WR and his running game dominating. Zeke should get some running room though in this game and honestly so should Dak which is great news for the Cowboys as Dak will be able to scramble and throw his 6-yard passes. The Giants need to see more out of Eli who missed some open shots last weekend. They also need more than just a 60-yard run from Saquon to make an impact. People see his stats last week and say wow he had a great game, but in reality, if you take out his one big run he averaged 2.23 yard a carry. That is horrible, and they need more granted he can only do so much with that offensive line in front of him. This game doesn’t really excite me and I personally am tired of this matchup every year on SNF. Cowboys 27 – Giants 23.
MNF 8:15 PM/ET on ESPN:
Seahawks (0-1) @ Bears (0-1): Seattle failed to impress me last week and I expected more from their offense. Without Doug Baldwin and an offensive line though we can only expect so much, and I believe Russell Wilson is in big trouble this weekend against Khalil Mack with his terrible line in front of him. The Bears had the Packers game in hand and then let one man come in and destroy them. The Bears need to play a full 60 minutes in this one and if they do they will pick up a win and be moving in the right direction. Bears 21 – Seahawks 20.
- Matt Koontz (8-9)
Carolina Panthers @ Atlanta Falcons. This is an important divisional matchup that could have some big playoff implications, but the Falcons are simply better at home, and need a big game this week. Falcons win. Final score: Falcons 28, Panthers 27.
LA Chargers @ Buffalo Bills. The Bills are not a good football team right now, and Josh Allen is not the answer to beating the Chargers defense. Chargers win. Final score: Chargers 24, Bills 17.
Minnesota Vikings @ Green Bay Packers. It's early in the season, but this is a must win game for the Vikings, with Rodgers playing on limited practice reps. Minnesota takes care of business this week. Final score: Vikings 21, Packers 20.
Cleveland Browns @ New Orleans Saints. The Browns will surprise a lot of people and make this a close matchup, but they don't have the firepower to win this one. They should have beat the Steelers last week, but the Saints have less drama and will take care of business. Final score: Saints 28, Browns 24.
Miami Dolphins @ New York Jets. This is a divisional matchup that could go either way, but the Jets looked solid in week 1. I expect them to start out the season 2-0. Final score: Jets 24, Dolphins 17.
Kansas City Chiefs @ Pittsburgh Steelers. If the Steelers were healthy with no locker room drama, then they would win this game hands-down. However, the Steelers are dealing with an injured Roethlisberger and a missing Bell. KC sneaks out with a win this week. Final score: Chiefs 28, Steelers 24.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Ryan Fitzpatrick had his big game for the season and now faces a top tier defense with Philly. Eagles win this one. Final score: Eagles 28, Buccaneers 3.
Houston Texans @ Tennessee Titans. The Texans are still a good team even after losing to the Patriots in week 1. I expect them to beat the Titans this week. Final score: Texans 24, Titans 14.
Indianapolis Colts @ Washington Redskins. I don't trust either of these teams, but I trust Adrian Peterson to put up a big game against the Colts so-called defense. Redskins win this one at home....and then you want to trade Adrian Peterson as his value peaks. Final score: Redskins 17, Colts 14.
Arizona Cardinals @ LA Rams. I'm really excited for this game. The Cardinals have some nice pieces but the Rams are the all-around better team. With Rosen, they may win this one. However, since Bradford gets the start, Rams win. Final score: Rams 35, Cardinals 14.
Detroit Lions @ San Francisco 49ers. This will be a nice rebound game for Jimmy G. He struggled against the Vikings, but he will have a big game against the Lions, who are, by all accounts, a team in turmoil. Final score; 49ers 24, Lions 13.
Oakland Raiders @ Denver Broncos. The Broncos have a huge home field advantage early in the season as teams work their way towards mid-season conditioning form. I think Denver takes advantage of this and pulls off a win in week 2. Final score: Broncos 35, Raiders 14.
New England Patriots @ Jacksonville Jaguars. This is the game the Jaguars have been waiting for all season. They pull off a win this time after nearly beating Belichick and Brady in the playoffs. Nice game ahead for TJ Yeldon. Final score; Jaguars 24, Patriots 23.
NY Giants @ Dallas Cowboys. NFC East divisional game means flip a coin because this game could go either way. I think the Giants are actually a slightly better team, and should come out with a win after keeping it close with the Jaguars in week 1. Final score: Giants 21, Cowboys 20.
Seattle Seahawks @ Chicago Bears. I have faith in the Bears defense after the addition of Khalil Mack. Seattle looked like a team in transition in week one, and may struggle this week. That should give the Bears an edge at home on Monday night. Final score: Bears 21, Seahawks 20.--Mike B. (6-11)

There a few certainties in life and in football. Bill Belichick press conferences will never be filled with information. Night Train Lane would have been suspended for life in today's NFL due to his aggressive and physical style o play. Marvin Lewis' Cincinnati Bengals struggle in the national spotlight. This week, as the Baltimore Ravens head to Cincinnati to take on Marvin Lewis and the Bengals on Thursday Night Football, I expect Lewis' struggles to rear their head again. While both of these teams are coming off of impressive wins, only one will start the season 2-0. This is a fight for the division lead as the Steelers and Browns tied to open the season, and both teams want to make a statement. The Ravens want to show that their week one performance was not an anomaly, and the Bengals want to prove that they can win in prime time. Who will win this week in Cincinnati?
I have to go with the Ravens in this one. Throughout Marvin Lewis' tenure as head coach, Bengals teams have come out flat in the national spotlight and dropped the vast majority of games. The quarterback doesn't matter. The roster doesn't matter. One standard theme is that Marvin Lewis and the Bengals play flat and conservative on national television. Therefore, I have to pick Baltimore to win this game. As a life-time Bengals fan, I hope that Marvin Lewis sees this post and puts it up in the locker room, using it to fuel a Bengals victory. However, that is unlikely to happen. I have to pick the Ravens. Final score: Baltimore Ravens 35, Cincinnati Bengals 14.--Mike B. (6-10)
TNF 8:20 PM/ET on NFL Network:
Ravens (1-0) @ Bengals (1-0): Both teams looked sharp last week, but both teams played a far less superior team. The Bengals win was more impressive because they beat Andrew Luck in Indy. The AJ Green and Andy Dalton connection looks to be in full form already which is trouble for any teams with a less talented secondary like the Colts. The Ravens though are a top 3 defense in the league and will show that this week against a much better team than the Bills of last week. Holding the Bills to 3 points isn’t really an achievement this season especially at home against the Bills. Joe Flacco looked elite as he is healthy for the first time in at least 3 years and they gave him a WR corps finally during the offseason. The Ravens do have Hayden Hurst still to unleash upon the league and once they do they might become a true threat to be a AFC champion if their offensive line can hold which is the only worry I have about this roster. This game should be close but I expect Marvin Lewis to choke in primetime late and the Ravens get some late room for a win. Ravens 26 – Bengals 21.

Baltimore Ravens, (1-0) @ Cincinnati Bengals, (1-0)
This is an old fashion AFC North battle on Thursday night between the Ravens and the Bengals. Both teams are coming off wins in their first game of the season. The Ravens basically murdered the Buffalo Bills, 47-3 and the Bengals got a late pick six to win, 34-23 over the Indianapolis Colts. This is a toss up since it's a short week and a divisional game. I see the Bengals winning a defensive battle. Final Score: Bengals 14 Ravens 13, Eric J (7-9)
NFL Week 1 2018 Season: Here comes week 1 of the NFL season following a wild season last year which we saw the Eagles win the Super Bowl. The Packers lost Aaron Rodgers. During the offseason we lost Derrius Guice to a torn ACL. We have seen Corey Coleman a first-round draft pick 2 years ago get traded from Cleveland to Buffalo and then get cut. We also will not see Carson Wentz week 1. This season looks to really have the potential to be exciting.
Thursday Night Football (9/6/18) @ 8:20 PM/ET. ON NBC:
Falcons @ Eagles: I love this as a season kickoff game but the Eagles better hope Nick Foles doesn’t look like Nick Foles of the preseason in this game or they could find themselves in trouble during this game. I love the two teams rosters in this game and believe we will be entertained Thursday night. Final Score prediction: Falcons 27 – Eagles 23.
Sunday Games (9/9/18)
Bills @ Ravens (CBS): I thought the Bills were going to have a chance to really battle this game out but the idea to start Nathan Peterman really ruined that. The Ravens without Jimmy Smith and Hayden Hurst will still roll. Final Score Prediction: Ravens 24 – Bills 6
Jaguars @ Giants (FOX): The Giants have some gaping holes on the right side of the offensive line and it concerns me against sacksonville. I believe Ramsey with all the trash talk will struggle to slow down Odell and we will see a 80 yard and 1 TD game from Odell but the Jaguars defense will win this game otherwise. Final score prediction: Jaguars 17 – Giants 13.
Buccaneers @ Saints (FOX): No Winston isn’t overrated and without Jameis they have no shot at winning this game. The Buccaneers defense was a major concern last year and against Kamara and Brees I don’t see it going well for them to start the season. Final Score prediction: Saints 31 – Buccaneers 17.
Texans @ Patriots (CBS): The return of DeShaun Watson is finally here and there can’t be a more excited person than me even though I am not a Texans fan. I don’t like Brady and Gronk being AWOL during the OTA’s. I really don’t like Tom without Edelman especially without Amendola. The Texans are healthy right now and will capitalize on a healthy Watt and Clowney together. Final Score prediction: Texans 26 – Patriots 20.
49ers @ Vikings (FOX): The Jimmy G era has officially begun. Jimmy is way overpaid entering this season and I am not one of the firm believers that he is a superstar. I do worry about the Vikings offensively without Pat Shurmur they might struggle for a few weeks getting up to speed with a new offensive coordinator. This game could be very interesting, but defense wins football games. Final Score prediction: Vikings 23 – 49ers 16.
Titans @ Dolphins (CBS): Tannehill is back, and Mariota is healthy. Corey Davis is healthy and had a season to learn the league and Amendola is looking good with a new team. I enjoy what this game could mean offensively with these two teams. The Dolphins should enjoy the addition of Mike Gesecki to their offense even with the loss of Landry we could see fireworks from both offenses. Final Score prediction: Dolphins 20 – Titans 17.
Bengals @ Colts (CBS): Andrew Luck is back and for the Colts that is a great thing, but their offensive line is pretty bad. Their run game is ugly even with Marlon Mack who I have no faith in. The Bengals offense looked pretty great during the preseason and yes, I know it is just the preseason, but it should give them some hope. I like the Bengals this year a bit more than I did before the preseason. Final score prediction: Bengals 23 – Colts 19.
Steelers @ Browns (CBS): Le’Veon Bell is a dramatic little baby. He isn’t playing because he doesn’t like that he was franchise tagged again. He is one of the highest paid players on his team and yet he is acting like a dramatic baby. He needs to grow the hell up and be a teammate or just officially sit the whole season. What a joke. James Conner will be a perfectly good replacement, no he won’t put up Bell numbers, but he is a great option and a franchise talent back. The Browns have really shown a lot of improvement during the offseason from last year and I believe that they are going to compete this year. UPSET Alert. Browns 17 – Steelers 16.
4:05/ 4:25 PM Games:
Chiefs @ Chargers (CBS): I love Patrick Mahomes so very much and I am so excited for the Mahomes ERA to begin but I worry against this Chargers defense it could start with a struggle week 1. River is bound for the playoffs this year and could be Super Bowl bound. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE CHARGERS THIS YEAR. This is the game of the week. Final Score prediction: Chargers 31 – Chiefs 28 in OT.
Seahawks @ Broncos (FOX): This game is going to be interesting. Bradley Chubb will be making his NFL regular season debut for the Broncos and Shaquem Griffin, the one handed LB, will be making his first NFL start as well. Case Keenum won’t be the Keenum we saw last year, and the Broncos will find that out the hard way. You would think John Elway could produce QB’s better than he has. Final Score prediction: Seahawks 17 – Broncos 13.
Cowboys @ Panthers (FOX): Dak and Zeke lost the best center possibly in NFL history during the offseason, Travis Frederick, due to Guillain-Barre Syndrome. I believe it effects Dak more than it does Zeke and we will see a small drop off in production from Dak, but Zeke is back from his suspensions for being a thug and will have a great season. Cam has a new shiny weapon in DJ Moore and McCaffery looks phenomenal and more freakish than ever. Watch out for Carolina if Cam can stay healthy. Panthers 23 – Cowboys 21.
Redskins @ Cardinals (FOX): David Johnson is back. The Cardinals will be with Sam Bradford and the best running back in the league David Johnson. The Redskins are with a new QB in Alex Smith but the loss of Derrius Guice really hurts their offense this season and we will see that low production this week. Final Score prediction: Cardinals 25 – Redskins 13.
SNF 8:20 PM/ET on NBC:
Bears @ Packers: The two teams with record contracts during the offseason will battle it out in an NFC North classic week 1. The Bears traded for Khalil Mack and then gave him a massive contract extension while the Packers and Aaron Rodgers agreed to the biggest contract in NFL history. The Packers overspent a little but they should just hope that he stays healthy. The new weapons for the Bears on defense will significantly help them. They signed Allen Robinson in the offseason and have a healthy Kevin White for once. This game could be very close. Final Score prediction: Packers 28 – Bears 24.
7:10 PM/ET on ESPN:
Jets @ Lions: The future of the Jets has begun with Sam Darnold starting week 1. All they need to do now is get him a running game and the Jets could really have something special here. The Lions finally got Stafford a great young running back in Kerryon Johnson. I really hate the Lions tight end situation and offensive line and I believe it will cost them this year a shot at a good season. Final Score prediction: Lions 20 – Jets 16.
10:20 PM/ET on ESPN:
Rams @ Raiders: The Rams have put together a team with no real weaknesses except maybe tight end? They are paying everyone and we still can’t figure out how they are managing to do so. The Raiders are hoping Derek Carr and Amari Cooper will turn it around this season. The loss of Khalil Mack will be bad for their defense and I think John Gruden will be in over his head as a rookie coach this year with this roster. Final Score prediction: Rams 31 – Raiders 18.
- Matt Koontz.
Football is back, as the Atlanta Falcons visit the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night. The Eagles are our defending Super Bowl champions, and will be starting quarterback Nick Foles to open the season. Meanwhile, Jay Ajayi, who is dealing with a leg injury, should play this week. The Falcons are a better team than last season's results show, and they should make some noise this year. In fact, I expect them to open the season 1-0 with a win against the Eagles. Final score: Atlanta Falcons 21, Philadelphia Eagles 20.--Mike B.

Buffalo Bills @ Baltimore Ravens. This should be a big statement win for the Ravens. Peterman struggled in his first career start, and the Ravens are at home trying to prove that they can become competitive again. Expect a big game out of the Baltimore defense and run game. Final score: Ravens 24, Bills 14.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ New Jersey Giants. The Jaguars are one of the best teams in the AFC, but they are also a bad road team. This will work in favor of a Giants team who should rebound nicely as their receivers return from injury. The Jaguars are weak on offense, especially in the passing game, and the Giants might just win this one. Final score: Giants 27, Jaguars 24.
LA Rams @Oakland Raiders. The Rams offense is dynamic. The Raiders defense without Khalil Mack is nearly nonexistent. Big statement win for the Rams to open the year. Final score: Rams 35, Raiders 14.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Indianapolis Colts. Cincinnati may have been a bad team last season, but they addressed their biggest weakness (offensive line). That improved Bengals offense should dominate the Colts. Bengals win. Final score: Bengals 21, Colts 7.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints. Jameis Winston is more integral to the Bucs offense than Mark Ingram is to the Saints. This should be a solid home opener for New Orleans as they take the win. Final score: Saints 24, Buccaneers 20.
Houston Texans @ New England Patriots. Bill Belichick likes to experiment in September, and the Texans are terrifying when DeShaun Watson is healthy. I think the Texans win this one in New England. Final score: Texans 21, Patriots 20.
San Francisco 49ers @ Minnesota Vikings. This is the week that Jimmy G loses his first career game as a 49er starting QB. The Vikings defense is too solid, especially at home, for the 49ers to win this one. Final score: Vikings 28, 49ers 20.
Tennessee Titans @ Miami Dolphins. This game could go either way; both of these teams are middle-of-the-pack teams, but the Titans have the slightly better overall team. therefore, I think Mariota and the Titans pull off a close victory. Final score: Titans 18, Dolphins 17.
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cleveland Browns. The Browns have to win a game sooner or later, and this is a surprisingly talented team with coaches fighting for their NFL lives. They host the top team in their division, a team filled with locker room strife. I expect the Browns to shock the NFL world with a win at home this week. Final score: Browns 21, Steelers 12.
Kansas City Chiefs @ LA Chargers. Both of these rosters are extremely talented, but the Chargers dominant defense will be too much for Pat Mahomes to handle. Good player, but the Chargers will shut him down. Final score: Chargers 21, Chiefs 10.
Seattle Seahawks @ Denver Broncos. The Seahawks defense is a unit in transition, and the future franchise quarterback for the Broncos may be on their bench (Chad Kelly). While the holes in the Seahawks defense, especially with Branden Jackson on the practice squad rather than as a starter (Branden Jackson SHOULD be starting), are present, Case Keenum is also not the player that Vikings fans might think he is. He had a great season last year, but will show the league why he has been a journeyman throughout his career this season. Seahawks win. Final score: Seahawks 24, Broncos 14.
Dallas Cowboys @ Carolina Panthers. The Cowboys' biggest weakness is their passing game, and the Panthers have the potential to have a dynamic, complete offense. I expect DJ Moore to emerge as an OROY candidate this season, while the Cowboys might not have a legitimate #1 receiver on roster. This will be an interesting game, and one that could go either way. However, I think the Panthers will win it. Final score: Panthers 21, Cowboys 17.
Washington Redskins @ Arizona Cardinals. Is Alex Smith a better QB than Kirk Cousins? Is David Johnson healthy? This will be an interesting game on all fronts, but ultimately, the Cardinals have too many weapons to lose this one at home. Cardinals win. Final score: Cardinals 23, Redskins 17.
Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers. The Chicago Bears will be a legitimate playoff team either this year or next season. They prove this point by going into Green Bay with Khalil Mack and a re-vamped offense and beating the Packers at Lambeau Field. Final score: Bears 27, Packers 14.
New Jersey Jets @ Detroit Lions. The Jets may finally have a franchise quarterback in Sam Darnold. Two seasons ago they made a playoff push with Ryan Fitzpatrick. This is the week where Sam Darnold wins his first career game on national television. Final score: Jets 28, Lions 27. --Mike B.

Super Bowl LII is upon us, as the New England Patriots take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Minnesota. The Eagles have been beating the odds all year and winning games that nobody expected them to en route to an NFC Conference Championship. Meanwhile, the New England Patriots are right where most fans expected them to finish at the start of the season. If Carson Wentz were healthy for the Eagles, Philadephia might pull this game off in upset fashion. However, given the powerhouse that Belichick has built, I expect the Patriots to win this game in close fashion. I am currently doubtful for the Justin Timberwho halftime show with the flu, so Final score: New England Patriots 27, Philadelphia Eagles 24.--Mike B.
The Championship Round of the 2017/2018 playoffs is upon us, and following this weekend's games, our Super Bowl matchup will be set. This is an intriguing set of teams with the potential to make a title run, with only the New England Patriots being Super Bowl regulars. Who makes it to the Super Bowl? Who goes home? Here are some picks!
Jacksonville Jaguars @ New England Patriots. Everyone thinks this game is a given; the Patriots are going to come out on top and the Jags are going home. Brady and Belichick are unstoppable in Foxboro. I'm not so sure. This game will be closer than many expect, and with the drama present in New England this post-season, the Jaguars could stun the football world and pull off an upset. I think the Jaguars win, barely. Final score: Jacksonville Jaguars 24, New England Patriots 23.
Minnesota Vikings @ Philadelphia Eagles. The Vikings have a real chance to be the first team in NFL history to play a Super Bowl in their home stadium. With this defense, I think they make it happen. Both of these teams are making deep playoff runs with strong defenses and backup quarterbacks. The Vikings' defense is better. Vikings win. FInal score: Minnesota Vikings 27, Philadelphia Eagles 21. --Mike B.
Atlanta Falcons @ Philadelphia Eagles. If Carson Wentz was active in this game, this would be a no-brainer. However, the defending NFC Champions catch a break and get to face Nick Foles this week in Philly. While I think this will be a close game, I do not think that Foles does enough to walk away with a victory. Falcons win. Final score: Falcons 42, Eagles 35.
Tennessee Titans @ New England Patriots. Sorry Marcus Mariota, but you have to face the Patriots and Tom Brady in Foxboro, and the Patriots have had Dick LeBeau's number throughout his career. Patriots win. Final score: Patriots 35, Titans 28.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Pittsburgh Steelers. While the Steelers are the better team in this matchup, the Jaguars dominated them earlier in the season, picking off Roethlisberger 5 times. They are also 13-11 all time against the Steelers. Meanwhile, LeVeon Bell is worried about his contract instead of this game. I smell an upset, Jaguars win! Final score: Jaguars 28, Steelers 24.
New Orleans Saints @ Minnesota Vikings. The Purple People Eaters are back and the Vikings defense is dominant. A dominant defense and an average QB can win you a Super Bowl. The Vikings defense will win them this game by shutting down the Saints' rushing game. Final score: Vikings 24, Saints 21.--Mike B.
Tennessee Titans @ Kansas City Chiefs. This is a game that I expect the Chiefs to win. While the Titans have a ton of talent led by Marcus Mariota, the Chiefs' offense is explosive, and they still have great defensive pieces. With Kareem Hunt regaining his early-season form, the Chiefs should win this one. Final score: Chiefs 27, Titans 20.
Atlanta Falcons @ LA Rams. One of these teams could play in the NFC Championship game. It's not the Falcons. I think Sean McVay and the Rams continue to build on a great start to the season, and win one at home. Final score: Rams 28, Falcons 23.
Buffalo Bills @ Jacksonville Jaguars. This is my favorite game of the season so far. The Bills are in their first playoff game this millenium. The Jaguars finally returned to playoff form. However, I think Jacksonville has the edge at home. This is a team we've expected to be a playoff contender for the past few seasons and they've finally made it there. They'll continue their ascent as they win this one at home. Final score: Jaguars 28, Bills 14.
Carolina Panthers @ New Orleans Saints. This is going to be a great, great game. Two rivals in a playoff setting. These teams both have a ton of weapons, but the Saints have more. I expect Kamara and Brees to carry the Saints to victory at home. Final score: Saints 35, Panthers 28.--Mike B.
Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions. Both of these teams are out of the playoffs, and Brett Hundley is starting for the Packers. If it was Rodgers I'd go with Green Bay, but with Rodgers out, Detroit wins. Final score: Lions 28, Packers 24.
Houston Texans @ Indianapolis Colts. We're in that surreal point of the season where losing will help both of these teams with draft stock. However, the Colts are better at losing, so Texans win. Final score: Texans 21, Colts 20.
Chicago Bears @ Minnesota Vikings. The Bears are who we think they are, a very bad football team. Minnesota wins this one at home even if they rest starters. Final score: Vikings 35, Bears 14.
New Jersey Jets @ New England Patriots. The Jets year ends on a disappointing note with a loss on the road in New England. Final score: Patriots 28, Jets 3.
Washington Redskins @ New York Giants. Even with Eli Manning, the Giants are a very bad team. The Redskins should win this one on the road. Final score: Redskins 14, Giants 10.
Dallas Cowboys @ Philadelphia Eagles. Nick Foles is not an elite quarterback. However, he is good enough to win when he needs to. Eagles win unless they rest a ton of starters. Final score: Eagles 24, Cowboys 21.
Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers. It takes talent to go 0-16. The Browns don't have talent, so by some fluke, I believe they'll get lucky and beat the Steelers. Final score: Browns 7, Steelers 6
Carolina Panthers @ Atlanta Falcons. The Panthers are in the playoffs. The Falcons are playing for their playoff lives. Expect them to squeak out a close one at home. Final score: Falcons 27, Panthers 23.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Baltimore Ravens. Marvin Lewis' tenure with the Bengals ends with a loss on the road in Baltimore. Final score: Ravens 35, Bengals 17.
Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins are struggling with Jay Cutler under center. The Bills can secure a winning season with a win in Miami. Bills win. Final score: Bills 14, Dolphins 12.
New Orleans Saints @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even with a playoff berth clinched, the Saints are too good to lose to this year's Bucs. Final score: Saints 27, Buccaneers 17
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Tennessee Titans. This week I expect the Jaguars to right the ship with a hard-fought win over the Titans. Final score: Jaguars 14, Titans 13.
Kansas City Chiefs @ Denver Broncos. Patrick Mahomes pulls off a win in his first career start against the Broncos. Chiefs win. Final score: Chiefs 21, Broncos 7.
Oakland Raiders @ LA Chargers. Boring game, both teams are out of the playoffs, but the Chargers have more weapons and therefore win at home. Final score: Chargers 24, Raiders 21.
San Francisco 49ers @ LA Rams. The magic continues for Jimmy Garoppolo as they take on the Rams and the Rams try to stay healthy. Upset alert: 49ers win! Final score: 49ers 24, Rams 17.
Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks are playing for their playoff lives and the Cardinals are eliminated. Seahawks win at home. Final score: Seahawks 27, Cardinals 14.--Mike B.
Sports give us as the human race something to cheer for and support and give hope to all of us.
