Top Offensive Rookie: Ka'Deem Carey: RB: He wont have a big role for the bears or much of one unless something happens to Matt Forte. I am choosing him because the Bears offense has very limited rookies. And of them he is in the best position to become something if the situation arises.
Top Defensive Rookie: Brock Vereen: FS: He is young obviously, and he's pretty physical. He isn't a shut down safety by any means but he will definitely bring more life and a better upside on defense to an old defense who has been far from effective the past 2 years. He is definitely an upgrade which is great news for the bears as a rookie safety out of the 4th round.
Most Crucial Offensive player: Alshon Jeffery: WR: Alshon need I say more. Two years ago his rookie season everyone thought wow he might not be all he is cracked up to be. Wow don't they regret being dumb now. He took his season developed. He is now a top 10 receiver in the NFL. Learning from Brandon Marshall and getting thrown to by Jay Cutler, Alshon is only going to get better yet. I think this year he joins the top 5 actually behind Calvin Dez AJ and Julio.
Most Crucial Defensive player: Shea McClellin : OLB: Shea is now looking like he will be playing mostly OLB instead of mostly defensive end. Shea's move back could really help this kid from Boise State become what I see in him an amazing linebacker with tons of talent and the ability to disrupt the passing game. Shea is my crucial pick because he will help this terrible aging defense look somewhat young and fast.
