This week's Shrine Game will help propel some prospects into the 2015 NFL draft. In other news, the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts face each other for the AFC title and a Superbowl bid this weekend. In the NFC, the Seahawks face the Packers. Who will be travelling to Arizona to play in the Superbowl? Who will be watching form their couches? Here are our picks.
Indianapolis @ New England. I want to believe in the Colts. I want to pick Andrew Luck to have a chance at his first Superbowl. That being said, there is no way that the Colts will defeat the Patriots in New England...with Andrew Luck OR Peyton Manning at the helm. Brady has one more Superbowl run ahead of him as the Patriots defeat Indy, 45-14.
Green Bay @ Seattle. Russell Wilson is too short to be an NFL quarterback, and yet he is on the verge of a second Superbowl berth in three seasons as a starter. He's not too short to beat an injured Aaron Rodgers. Yes, the Packers are an elite team, but the Seahawks are the healthier team going into this game. Russell Wilson is tough to beat in big games, and so is Aaron Rodgers. This could be the game of the year and it will go down to the wire. I'm picking Seattle in a close win at home, 42-38.--Mike B
OK so you guys might wonder what teams are theses guys favorites? well here's an insight of me Matt Koontz. I am more a fan of players then a specific team but if I've had to chose it's been 5 teams, The Packers, Seahawks, Patriots, Falcons, and bills. All for different players and coaches. Russell Wilson is my favorite athlete of all time so there is an example.
Packers @ Seahawks: Packers had a good game in the second half last week that saved them. The Seahawks are a much more consistent team since their loss to the Chiefs they seem unbeatable. Aaron Rodgers stated he has 120 minutes left on his leg insinuating he has two full games left. Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers the two best QBS in the NFC and 2 of the 3 best in the league, other being Brady. Wilson and Rodgers are experts and expanding the play and both are the best at not throwing interceptions. This game is going to be so intense especially for me my heart is torn and my brain is torn. But a slow beat up Aaron Rodgers in Seattle means a Seahawks Victory. Seahawks win 37 - 34.
The Colts @ Patriots: Welcome to Foxboro in the post season Andrew Luck. You are truly the most overrated QB in the league. Last week you far from impressed as always you seemed to throw as many INTS as touchdowns. Tom is a legend with a legendary prowess. No offense to a player I'm a big fan of in D'Qwell Jackson but I am going to pick the Patriots here. They are at home and have a legendary coach, QB, and tight end. Although I could see the NFL do their best to make it so Luck gets to the superbowl. Because they have chosen him as the new face of the league for some reason? Patriots win this 41 - 30.
