Top Offensive Rookie: Teddy Bridgewater: QB: Look I know he isn't starting at QB.............. yet. He will probably start by week 5. Matt will struggle a few weeks and of course look ok for a couple but they will be hearing it from the Minnesota faithful that they have a better QB waiting. Granted Mike Zimmer probably won't be phased by a bunch of angry fans. So he might not start that soon but if he gets a chance he will be a good rookie.
Top Defensive Rookie: Anothony Barr: OLB: This man is a machine. Anthony is an absolute freak of nature. There is a reason the VIkings took him at 9 overall in this years draft. He is also starting for them already for another reason. He is just scary good scary talent this kid from UCLA might win defensive rookie of the year in the NFC.
Most Crucial Offensive player: Adrian Peterson : RB: As if I needed to say this. Adrian is a freak he is probably a top 5 RB in the history of the game. He is just an absolute stud on the field. I mean his toughness is unquestioned. Look at his torn ACL for instance was slated to miss a whole season. He comes back and is ready to go week one and puts up a career year. Adrian is so good its almost unhuman and his age isn't something in my opinion that you need to worry about at all. He runs and plays like he is ageless.
Most Crucial Defensive player: Captain Munnerlyn : CB: Captain was huge in Carolina and in my opinion was the crucial element to the Panthers success last season on defense. Carolina was stupid to let him walk and not offer him top 10 corner back money. But now that he is in Minnesota he will be facing top QBs 6 times a season in Stafford, Rodgers, and Cutler. He will be shutting down top receivers and slowing down players like Calvin Johnson. Captain if he was on a bigger market team that ESPN paid attention to because sadly that's how this works which is pathetic might get talked about as defensive player of the year.
