Well this is week 11 almost the final bye week has The Ravens, The Jets, Cowboys, and Jags watching the games from their couches this week. This also means we are a week away from the return of Josh Gordon!!!!!
Vikings @ Bears: Oh where does Matt begin. The Vikings are average and Bridgewater has found a connection recently with Jennings and the running game still is of course MIA but hey on the road here at Soldier Field means its automatically a tough game all around. The Bears meanwhile are a train-wreck. The Bears are absolutely awful and its finally showing. The Bears are never going to get what they just paid Jay Cutler to do as long as Mark Tresman is still coaching this team. They need to let him go and find someone who can work with Jay so the Bears can go somewhere like their talent and their fan base deserve. Bears somehow find a way to win this game by the bare minimum skin of their ass. Bears win 29 - 27.
Seahawks @ Chiefs: Seattle isn't Seattle of last season I will say it every week and I am sorry its just a nightmare. The Chiefs are in the playoffs right now if the season ends as of now. They are playing good football but they are far from special. Seattle is not a great team this year. The Seahawks need to show up this week and show the rest of the NFC that they are back. They need to win a tough road game on the road against a team with a good defense and a mediocre offense in a tough place to play. Regardless I don't see the Hawks winning this. Chiefs win 30 - 24
Texans @ Browns: Wow Cleveland really showed up last week in Cincy of all places they did it on the road in a rivals home stadium. They really impressed the NFL world last week as well as myself and good news for all the Browns fans Josh Gordon is back next week that can only make them better. Ryan Mallet is finally getting his chance in the NFL I have been excited to see this kid play after learning from Tom Brady. I am thrilled to see what he will do unfortunately for him its against an impressive Browns Defense and on the road. Following Clevelands last game I am going to pick the browns this week. Browns win 24- 20.
Falcons @ Panthers: Falcons won last week finally winning a game played outside and on the road which they have had no excuse not to because they are a very talented team. Matt Ryan needs to have the leash taken off him. Let Matt Ryan play football man Mike Smith let this guy take the game into his hands let him control the fate of this team. Let the run game become secondary in Atlanta and let Matt Ryan take the reigns of this franchise. Carolina on the other hand where did you go Cam Newton of old. Look if you are playing injured take a seat young man don't risk ruining your future. Cam let Derek Andersen play in the meanwhile like seriously it isn't funny. Your team is far from the playoff spot and playoff run capabilities are done. Falcons win on the road 34 - 24
Bengals @ Saints: Bengals got absolutely whacked last week AT HOME to the division rival BROWNS. The Bengals need to look into letting Marvin Lewis promoted to General Manager and hire a coach who can actually coach big games. Andy Dalton also needs to wake up a bit and play better this year. Saints did lose in a terrible way to the talentless Kaepernick. The Niners should have never won that game let alone really be close in that game in New Orleans. But the Saints D let it happen and Brees didn't play like Drew Brees in anyway and even as a person who truly doesn't care for the Saints after the whole issue two years ago with spying but they are a better team then they have showed. Saints dominate Bengals this week 36 - 21.
Bucs @ Skins: Oh man I wish this wasn't a game. I don't have much to say about this one sadly except I expect this to be the nail in the coffin for Lovie Smiths career not saying he will be fired this week but at seasons end if they don't start rattling off some wins he might lose his job. Skins they are an ok team nothing great but they are better then the Bucs especially to me playing in FedEx Field. Skins win 24 - 23
Broncos @ Rams: Rams head coach Jeff Fisher just decided to start Shaun Hill over Austin Davis which I do not agree with but it could be a good move maybe. I think the Rams being the upset team looked good for the upset last week till the fourth quarter rolled around and just collapsed. I don't see them poising a threat this week to the Broncos and Peyton Manning. So I expect Peyton to dismantle the Rams in St. Louis. 38 - 20.
49ers @ Giants : For once this season I am going to pick Jim cry baby Hardbaugh and the terrible QB Kaepernick. I just have less faith in the Giants then I have any season in recent memory. I am going to call this a boring game Frank Gore and Hyde as always will carry Kaep. but it will be enough to win. Niners win 21 - 17.
Raiders @ Chargers: What happened to San Diego? I don't know but they bounce back to life this week win this game why..... because the Jets woke up a bit last week while the Raiders recaptured the title of the biggest joke in the NFL. The Raiders will move to 0-10 this week yes 0-10. The Chargers roll 37 - 13.
Lions @ Cardinals: Lions got away last week with a lucky win in Detroit. The Cardinals are still the best team in the NFL even Palmer-less. Cardinals looked weak last week for about 3 quarters of the game but they woke up behind Drew Stanton and that should be a good sign for the Cardinals and their fans. I will stick with them and I said it all along super bowl winners this year Arizona wins this game as well and rolls to a 9-1 record while being beat to a pulp. 27 - 21.
Eagles @ Packers: Oh man this game is exciting. Mark Sanchez last week proved he was just Rex Ryaned The Eagles are a good team and Mark Sanchez might be a better QB to me then Nick Foles is. Only time in a real offense will tell how good Mark could be. The Eagles rolled last week and impressed over the Panthers regardless that the panthers are a losing record team in complete disarray. The Packers on the other hand are absolutely incredible what they did on Sunday Night football to the Bears in Green Bay was just absolutely crazy. The Packers offense looks absolutely crazy good on offense. The Packers win this week at home in a heck of a game. Packers win 38 - 34.
Pats @ Colts: Oh the memories of what this game used to mean was coming. But now its Tom vs. Andrew Luck what a game this could be. This could be a game for us to remember for years to come. I am expecting an absolute heck of a game as we all should be expecting it to be. The Pats though are just seriously the hottest team in the NFL they just roll their opponents but on the road this one will be closer although Pats still win. 42 - 37.
Steelers @ Titans: Um hey Pittsburgh its called they are the Jets!!!! How did you lose that game to the Jets last week. Just wow that's pathetic. The Steelers seem to lose to teams they should not lose to what-so-ever. The Steelers are pathetic after losing last week I realized they aren't as good as I assumed or as anyone assumed yes you lose some games to bad teams its heard of but not to the terrible JETS. Titans meanwhile had something going for them against the Ravens for a little bit and then it faded away into the mist just like their season did once it started. Steelers win 24 - 17.
Vikings @ Bears. This game is going to be a mistake-fest. The Bears have looked terrible as of late. The Vikings haven't been much better. Minnesota might get Peterson back, but not soon enough to help this week. The Bears might get a new head coach, but not soon enough to help this season. Final score Vikings 24, Bears 21.
Seahawks @ Chiefs. The Seattle Seahawks had a pretty solid team going into this season. Then they went and traded away their #1 WR. Both of these offenses are anemic at best, with two great running backs but no weapons in the passing game. DeAndre Smelter could wind up playing for either one of these teams next season. These defenses also aren't what they were last year. Final score, Chiefs win at home, 28-27.
Texans @ Browns. Cleveland is leading the AFCN and looks to be solidly in playoff contention. Let that sink in for a moment. The Texans also don't look bad this year. However, without Arian Foster this week, Cleveland will dominate the Texans this week. Final score, Cleveland 24, Houston 14.
Falcons @ Panthers. This is going to be a sloppily boring game. Both of these teams are severely underachieving. Both of these teams also need a surefire #1 RB. Atlanta has a few potential answers, but South Dakota State University running back Zach Zenner might be a nice pickup late in the draft for Carolina. That being said, Carolina wins this one at home, barely, with a score of 28-27.
Bengals @ Saints. For the past few years, the Cincinnati Bengals have dropped the ball in the draft room and in free agency on the defensive side of the ball, although Vontaze Burfict was a brilliant UDFA signing. Their crew of D-backs and non-Burfict linebackers played like allstars with Mike Zimmer here, but with Zimmer gone, this defense is unraveling. Some help at linebacker would help, and Hau'oli Kikaha could be a great fit for Cincinnati this spring. The Saints are getting healthy at running back and Graham is playing well. Final score, Saints win, 35-24. Marvin Lewis inches one step towards a new role.
Buccaneers @The Franchise Formerly Known as the Redskins. These two franchises are teams where playoff hopes go to die as of late. The Redskins have a decent team but Jay Gruden has been unable to pull it all together. The Buccaneers have a solid core of offensive talent but need accelerated play at the QB position to pull it all together. Do they take a chance on Oregon State QB Marcus Mariota at QB in the draft? I think they do, unless the Jets beat them to him. But I digress. Redskins win this game, 26-20. Because angry Native Spirits.
Broncos @ Rams. Add the Rams to the list of teams that might draft a QB in spring, with the uncertainty surrounding Sam Bradford's health. There is uncertainty at QB in general for the Rams this season, and Denver is one of the surest franchises in football this season. Denver rolls, 35-14. Brock Osweiler throws his helmet in frustration with 1:39 left in the 4th quarter.
49ers @ Giants. This will be a surprisingly decent game. That being said, Odell Beckham III is stepping up for the Giants and he might be the edge this offense needs. The Giants are, however, in dire need of defensive help, and a guy like Vic Beasley from Clemson would massively help the team out in 2015. That being said, Giants win, 28-27.
Raiders @ Chargers. The Raiders don't need a QB, they need weapons around him. The Raiders don't need a QB, they need weapons around him! DeAndre Smelter in 2015? Perhaps. That being said, they'll likely draft help at offensive line or defense in the first round; this team is averaging one sack per game and a talent like Leonard Williams, the DE from USC, might help them a ton at 1st or 2nd overall in the draft. However, he won't help them beat Philip Rivers and the Chargers this week. Final score, Chargers 38, Raiders 10.
Lions @ Cardinals. The Lions are playing solid football this year and have Calvin Johnson back. However, the Cardinals are at home and can win with any QB. If Palmer was healthy I'd predict a blowout, but even with Drew Stanton, the Cardinals win this game, 24-21.
Eagles @ Packers. This is going to be a great game, but the Packers are a slightly better team all-around. Packers, who look like legitimate Superbowl contenders, win at home, 38-30. Eddie Lacy out-performs LeSean McCoy.
Patriots @ Colts. This looks to be a great game. That being said, historically Tom Brady has dominated the Andrew Luck-led Colts. This week is no different. Final score Patriots 35, Colts 28.
Steelers @ Titans. This is going to be a boring Monday night. The Titans started out looking good and then imploded. The Steelers started out terrible and then got hot. Momentum continues, and Pittsburgh wins 27-20.
Hey guys I'm sorry again I'm late getting to my picks. I'll post them sooner next week.
Vikings @ Bears - The Bears have looked horrible lately, and they're 0-3 at home. Minnesota wins, 23-20.
Texans @ Browns - Browns are looking good right now, especially with last week's demolishment of Cincinnati. Ryan Mallett is making his first start, and its hard to predict how he will perform. Browns win at home, 20-13.
Seahawks @ Chiefs - This game is going to be a close one. Both teams are on winning streaks right now, and both have great running backs. I'm going with Beast Mode coming in clutch in the 4th quarter. Hawks win, 28-24.
Falcons @ Panthers - The Falcons have Matt Ryan who is a great quarterback, but hasn't done too much so far. Panthers have also lost 4 straight. Falcons win, 28-17.
Bengals @ Saints - Saints are incredible at home, and the Bengals were torn to shreds by the Browns. Enough said. Saints win, 30-16.
Buccaneers @ Redskins - This has to be the least entertaining game of the week. Bucs have lost 5 straight. Skins win, 20-13.
Broncos @ Rams - I would honestly love to see the Rams show up to this game like they did against the 49ers. But, I don't think that will happen. Also, Peyton is a great qb, and Kaepernick isn't. Broncos win, 33-16.
49ers @ Giants - Giants aren't playing well at all, and have lost 4 straight. 49ers will make this game a lot harder for them than it needs to be. 49ers win, 23-17.
Raiders @ Chargers - Chargers have been playing very poorly, as they haven't won since their matchup against the Raiders in week 6. Although, the Raiders are by far one of the worst teams in the NFL. Chargers will make this game a lot harder than it needs to be, but they still win, 23-13.
Eagles @ Packers - This is going to be a great game. Eagles have come out very strong this year. The Packers are playing well, like normal. Packers are 4-0 at home as well. Due to home field advantage (and weather), Packers win, 30-24.
Lions @ Cardinals - Arizona really turned it around this year. Sure, the Lions have Megatron, but one man isn't a whole team. Arizona have worked hard and earned their wins this year. Cardinals win, 27-20.
Patriots @ Colts - Boy oh boy, I can't describe my excitement for this game. New England was the hottest team in the NFL going into their bye week last week. Andrew Luck has been playing well, but Tom Brady has been on fire. Pats win with Tom throwing a game-winning TD to Gronk or LaFell. Final score, 35-30.
Steelers @ Titans - Pittsburgh fell apart when they played the Jets. There's no excuse. The Jets are absolutely awful. Roethliseberger broke a record with 12 touchdowns in 2 games, then fell apart against a team that had lost 8 straight. It's hard to say which Steelers team will show up. I still have the Steelers winning, 27-20.
Falcons vs. Panthers: truth is, the Panthers have been downright terrible this year. I'm taking the Falcons 21-14.
Vikings vs. Bears: I got to go with Minnesota in this one. Chicago hasn't proved they can actually play football as a team this season. Vikings win and Bridgewater throws 4 TDs. 31-17.
Bengals vs. Saints: Do I think it's time for a big bounce back game from the Red Rifle? Nope. I think the Bengals are going to continue their woahs, and no amount of A. J. Green is going to help took for Brandon Cooks to have a big game as the Bengals defense focuses on Jimmy Graham. New Orleans takes this one, 37-20.
Texans vs. Browns: What can I say? The Browns proved me wrong last week. I think the Texans are going to win, but the Browns keep winning whenever I choose against them. So, the answer is: I'll probably be wrong. Texans, 24-17.
Broncos vs. Rams: The Rams. Have played the upset role in the NFL so far. I doubt that is the case this week. Broncos shred the Rams for 500 yards of total offense, and Montee Ball has a good game in his return. Unfortunately, the Rams will look discombobulated on offense without Austin Davis at the helm. Broncos, 45-21.
Seahawks vs. Chiefs: These teams are built very similarly. They both have great running backs, they both have good defenses. And as a matter of fact, they both have great home crowds. Russel Wilson is better than Alex Smith but the game is played at Arrowhead stadium. So, Cheifs win a close one, 27-24.
Niners vs. Giants: So the Niners got lucky last week. I doubt that will happen again. Eli Manning is finally going to have a complete outing, thanks to the continued improvement by rookie wide reciever Odell Beckham Jr., who will have another 100 plus yard receiving game and two touchdowns. Giants: 28-17.
Buccaneers vs. Redskins: RG3 gets back to normal this week. Redskins blow out the Buccaneers, 27-10.
Raiders vs. Chargers: The Chargers aren't as good as everybody thought, but the Raiders still suck. 21-17, Chargers.
Lions vs. Cardinals: Cardinals, at home, with Drew Stanton running the show. Stanton is as good, if not better than Carson Palmer. In fact, their quarterback ratings are nearly identical this year. Yes, Megatron is back, but 2 costly picks by Stafford are going to lose the Lions this road game. Cards, 31-24.
Eagles vs. Packers: This game should be a shootout. Look for the Eagles defense to hold Aaron Rodgers in check a lot better than the Bears did. Sanchez can still play ball. Should be a fun one! I'm going to take the Packers, 34-31 in overtime.
Patriots vs. Colts: Here's the prediction of the week. The Brady Bunch shoots up the Colts, fry them as steak for fine eatin', hit the bars, and then bust town. Good analogy? I liked it. Pats in a blowout. 41-24.
Steelers vs. Titans: Which Steelers team will show up to this game. Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde? I'm guessing the former. But they'll still pull out a win agains Tenessee. Titan's Fall, 24-7.
