There are no more undefeated teams in the NFL. The Cardinals and Bengals, the last two teams standing, lost last week. The Jaguars lost again, and have yet to win a game. Jacksonville faces Tennessee this week in a game reeking of boredom and broken dreams, but will they win their first game of the season on Sunday? You'll have to read and find out!
Jacksonville at Tennessee. The Jaguars are making wholesale changes in their offense this week, turning the ball over to 7th round draft pick Storm Johnson and Denard Robinson in the backfield. Storm Johnson is an extremely underrated player, and may be a sneaky fantasy pickup this week. I'm expecting a breakout game from him. Bishop Sankey could also have a breakout game against a weak Jaguars defense. Jaguars win this in a sloppy game, 21-20.
Baltimore at Tampa Bay. Baltimore is a decent football team. The Buccaneers are a pretty bad football team. Lovie Smith's nightmare continues, and he's not in Chicago anymore. Ravens 24, Bucs 21.
Denver at New York Jets. The Jets are one of the most abysmally run franchises in football. Sure, we haven't given Mark Sanchez any weapons, but let's cut the rope on him. We've drafted Geno Smith, and haven't given him any WRs. He's not doing well? Bring in Michael Vick! Oh no! He can't play with no WRs either! Rex Ryan and the Jets front office are an embarrassment to professional football at this point! In any well-run franchise that front office would have been fired years ago. J-E-T-S Just-End-The-Season yet again. Maybe if they invested in some WRs for Geno Smith to throw to they'd be competitive, but that would make sense. Denver is going to destroy this team. Maybe if Rex Ryan can't motivate them, my post will. Denver 56, Jets 14.
Detroit at Minnesota. This is actually a fairly tough game to call. Both teams are struggling with RB problems. Calvin Johnson is injured. Johnson and Reggie Bush won't be playing this week, giving an edge to the VIkings. Minnesota 24,Lions 14.
New England at Buffalo. The Bills are actually a pretty good team, but last week the Patriots showed us that they might be even better. However, question marks still surround New England and they are wildly inconsistent this year. Bills 28, Patriots 24.
Carolina at Cincinnati. Cam Newton and Andy Dalton, two quarterbacks from the same draft class, face off in this matchup. While AJ Green is injured, this offense has proven to be dynamic even when Green misses time. Vontaze Burfict is back, and that defense will be better. Bengals play better at home. Bengals 28, Panthers 24.
Pittsburgh at Cleveland. The Cleveland Browns are in contention to win the AFCN. Let that sink in for a moment. The Browns actually look really good this year, and nearly beat Pittsburgh once already. This week, they get Tate back and are playing at home. Cleveland wins this game! It's going to be a close one though. I'm picking Cleveland 35, Pittsburgh 31.
Green Bay at Miami. The Green Bay Packers found their stride last week, and will be hard for the Miami Dolphins to defend. This team is finally firing on all cylinders, and will crush the Dolphins in Miami. Final score, 42-24.
San Diego at Oakland. This game has the look of a blowout, on paper at least. However, divisional games are rarely as easy to call as the so-called experts think they are. The Oakland Raiders have a chance to win this game. I'm picking the Raiders to pull it off, 28-24.
Chicago at Atlanta. The Chicago Bears play better on the road this year. If this game was in Chicago, I'd be picking the Falcons, but the Bears are slowly starting to pull things together and look like a decent football team. The Falcons have been wildly inconsistent. Bears 24-Falcons 21.
Dallas at Seattle. Tony Romo and the Cowboys are starting to look like a playoff team. However, this game is in Seattle, and Seattle is a very tough place to win in. The 12th Man rolls and Seattle wins, shootout-style. 42-35.
Washington at Arizona. Arizona might finally have a healthy QB on roster this week! They've been competitive without one, and they continue to play well at home against the Redskins. Cardinals, 24, the Washington-Politically-Incorrect-Football-Team 14.
New York Giants at Philadelphia. A few weeks ago, this game would have looked like an obvious blowout. Now the Giants are playing well, and things don't look as easy to call. This game could go either way, but I'm going Eagles 38-Giants 35.
San Francisco at St. Louis. Say it with me. Austin Davis is not the answer. Austin Davis is not the answer. He's playing well in a fantasy sense, but he will not keep the Rams competitive this season. San Francisco's defense is going to shred him and the St. Louis "offense" on Monday night. Final score, 38-14.
For some reason my picks aren't showing up. I got the Same picks as mike minus a few.
Im taking the Pats over terrible Kyle Orton sorry Buffalo. pats win 24 -19
