Week 9 NFL:
Packers (6-1) @ Panthers (7-0): This is game of the week. The Packers are looking to bounce back after the ugliest game I have ever seen from an Aaron Rodgers led offense. The Panthers are still undefeated after an ugly late ending to Monday night they should be counting their blessings. This game is going to be fun and a good defensive matchup with some offense thrown in. This game in Green Bay I think the Packers would automatically be handing Carolina their first loss, that’s not the case though we are in Carolina so things are going to be different. This game could go either way but I think the true MVP will shine through here and I am taking Packers win 24 – 20 over the Panthers.
Redskins (3-4) @ Patriots (7-0): I don’t feel I owe any explanation. Patriots win 34 – 17 over the Redkins.
Titans (1-6) @ Saints (4-4): Eh. This game should be simple to call too, Saints win 37 – 10 over the Titans.
Dolphins (3-4) @ Bills (3-4): Ok so welcome back Tyrod, I think the Bills are a better team than 3-4 but Rex is their head coach and he is a nightmare. The Dolphins first loss since Dan Campbell took over as a coach and it was ugly. This game is a must win for both teams because honestly both teams have the talent to go 6-2 to finish this season if they turn it around now and get a playoff spot. I am going to take the home team to win with the return of the beast Tyrod Taylor. Bills win 27 – 21 over the Dolphins.
Rams (4-3) @ Vikings (5-2): Todd Gurley vs The Vikings. This game is tough. I am going to avoid rambling about how hard this game truly is. Their defenses are basically even and their QB situation is kinda the same one has a sophomore still developing, the other has an ok QB in Nick Foles. I am going with the Todd Gurley’s, Rams win 30 – 28 over the Vikings.
Jaguars (2-5) @ Jets (4-3): In New York with Fitzpatrick not Geno the Jets got this one in the bag. Jets win 23 – 18 over the Jaguars.
Raiders (4-3) @ Steelers (4-4): The Raiders are better than we all thought this season. The Steelers are struggling compared to what most expected and injuries and suspensions have been to blame. This game is tough to call because the Raiders tend to be a tough team to beat this year and the Steelers are without Le’Veon Bell. I am going to take the upset here. Raiders win 31 – 27 over the Steelers.
Giants (4-4) @ Buccaneers (3-4): Winston seems to be arriving and Eli is still Eli-ish. I like the Giants in this game though because their offense blew up last week and seems to really be top talent now in the NFL. Giants win 41 – 30 over the Buccaneers.
Falcons (6-2) @ 49ers (2-6): Ok Atlanta has fallen asleep as of late the past few weeks. I have said it all year and here we go BLAINE GABBERT is finally getting the shot he deserved. Gabbert in and I said all along start him and I will side with you. Well I stick to my word. 49ers win 23 – 20 over the Falcons.
Broncos (7-0) @ Colts (3-6): The Colts SUCK and Andrew Luck has already reached his height and is a waste. Broncos win no questions about it. Broncos 37 – 9 over the Colts.
Eagles (3-4) @ Cowboys (2-5): No Romo, no wins. Eagles win 28 – 14 over the Cowboys.
Bears (2-6) @ Chargers (2-6): Why is this Monday night football? Wow um I guess Chargers win 28 – 24 over the Bears.
Green Bay Packers @ Carolina Panthers. Last week, the Packers' unbeaten streak ended. This week, the Panthers' streak ends. Both of these teams are great, and this game could go either way, but I expect a rebound game for the Packers. Final score: Packers 28, Panthers 27.
St. Louis Rams @ Minnesota Vikings. Both of these teams are franchises on the rise. Both could legitimately be playoff contenders. Both have great defenses. This is going to be a great game to watch, and also an extremely close one, that should come down to ball control and turnovers. I'm going with the home team in this one with a slight edge. Final score: Vikings 14, Rams 10.
Washington Redskins @ New England Patriots. The Redskins won't beat New England at home....nope, not going to happen. At least that's according to the entire world of football. That being said, I'm going to go out on an extreme limb and call this game an upset. This is a bit of a trap game for New England, and they could overlook Washington. Washington wins this game in a stunner. Final score: Redskins 27, Patriots 24.
Tennessee Titans @ New Orleans Saints. The new coach model worked for Miami. It won't work quite as easily for Tennessee, who visits a resurgent New Orleans team this week. Saints roll. Final score: Saints 35, Titans 14.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ New York Jets. This will be a far closer game than people expect. The Jets are surprisingly good this year. That being said, the Jaguars will be a great team in just a few years if they continue to build. Jaguars will at least make this a close game. However, the Jets will win it. Final score: Jets 27, Jaguars 24.
Oakland Raiders @ Pittsburgh Steelers. After losing to the Bengals (and losing LeVeon Bell), the Steelers lose at home again. Final score: Raiders 28, Steelers 14.
Atlanta Falcons @ San Francisco 49ers. Blaine Gabbert returns as an NFL starter! How will he perform? Not well enough to beat the Falcons, unfortunately for the 49ers. Falcons win. Final score: Falcons 24, 49ers 7.
New York Giants @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This should be a close game, but I still expect the Giants to win it. They're the better team, by far. Final score: Giants 35, Buccaneers 28.
Denver Broncos @ Indianapolis Colts. This should be a pretty good game. However, with TY Hilton injured, the Colts offense could struggle to get going against a dominant Denver defense. Broncos win. Final score: Broncos 17, Colts 14.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys. These NFC East matchups are always crazy, and could go either way. That being said, the Cowboys are still struggling with injury issues and the Eagles are getting hot. Eagles win. Final score Eagles 28, Cowboys 24.
Chicago Bears @ San Diego Chargers. Too many injuries for Chicago. I'm going to have to go with San Diego in this game. Final score: Chargers 24, Bears 14.
